one of Belfasts few remaing old buildings. It still retains many of its old features including a marvellous organ. the addition of the new toilets was a very welcome change

Me and a friend went to a retro tea dance, not knowing a sole being as we were tourist but the staff made us feel welcome!
Whilst the dancers kept to themselves the atmosphere was fun and we even got up and had a go at dancing. Drinks are expensive and were in plastic cups. Again I wouldn't make a special effort to visit Ulster Hall but if there was a show I could imagine it being a cool venue.

This is an old but restored hall close to Belfast City Centre and has been the venue of many historical events. We attended recently to see a concert by the Bootleg Beatles. Event was well run, seats comfortable and we had a great view from the balcony. Did not buy any drinks at the bar so cannot comment. The hall is quite small so after the concert it took no time to exit. Several restaurants in the immediate vicinity and close to transport links. An enjoyable evening.

Doors didnt open untill 7.30pm, rushed in to find a que at the bar, bought two bottles of beer costing £7.70! had to leave them as couldnt possibly finish them in 5 mins!! the bar area is appaling its lit up like a sports hall with absolutely no atmosphere whatsoever. No where near enough staff on duty rushed in and out in literally 10mins. so poorly run its unreal
