“stormont - quick look at”
Reviewed July 19, 2013

not very welcoming - didnt know how to access it so parked at gate and walked up - no obvious signs to show where to go in - alot of security so feels intimidating. Not welcoming but interesting. Playground on right of entrance really good and dedicated to Mo Mowlam - the best part. Didnt have time for a tour but being watched all the time and british flag outside feels bit weird like everyone is not represented by the parliament.

“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed July 7, 2013

Took a bus tour of Belfast (hop on Hop off) and one of our better stops was Stormont Castle and it was a great experience. The security staff and the Police were very pleasant and helpful.

“Bit of a shambles”
Reviewed July 5, 2013

We managed to almost stroll into the debating room itself because of rubbish security, we were only stopped at it's door by a red faced and very angry flunkey. Nice building lovely grounds worth an hour of your time on the bus tour.

“Magestic”

If you get a fine day in Belfast, take a bus to this majestic place, only 15min for Belfast city- the hop on stops there. The pictures don't reflect it's grandeur. It's truly looks like a house of parliament. Playground for the kids while you can jog up and down the one mile avenue in front of the building

“Stormont”
Reviewed June 12, 2013

Unfortunately we arrived when lots of school trips were taking place and so could not have the tour that was usually available. Not much to see but may visit again in the future to get on the tour. The bus tour commentator said that the Stormont tours don't coincide with the times their buses arrive. The Building it self though is quite Magnificent and is very, very big. The grounds are very large and very nicely laid out. The views of Belfast from the front are very good.
