“The Caretaker is a gentleman”

Travelling to me is about the great people you meet, rather than the buildings. The caretaker at St. Malachy's is that friend you didn't know you had.

“beautifully restored chapel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 25, 2012

Historic and architecturally magnificent chapel located in markets area of belfast. I visit it often for quiet reflection and prayer. When the town is busy or you have a lot on your mind just drop in and you will feel a lot better, believe me!

“The ragged saint”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

Small catholic church in the markets area of the city. In the church you will find a statue of the 'ragged saint'. Traditionally local people would leave a few pennies in the box beneath the ragged saint and pray to always have enough money to feed their families during hard times.
