Climbing to the top of the hill is hard work but you get some amazing views of Belfast out of it, so it's definitely worth it. We parked near Belfast Castle and walked up to the top of the fort past the cave in the hill and then back down again (we were short of time so didn't do the full route). Nice way to spend a few hours. At the top of the fort there is a sheer drop with no fence so watch out!
