“Free beauty”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

I was lucky enough to walk through the gardens on a sunny day. Gorgeous. The palm house was filled to the brim with lovely plants. Worth a stroll.

“Beautiful gardens in the heart of Belfast”
Reviewed May 7, 2014

Colourful flower beds and lush, green lawns are scattered through the gardens. The highlight is the Botanical Glass House with plants from around the world. There are plenty of benches to sit on and enjoy the surroundings. The rose garden is also beautiful in the summertime. Definitely worth a stroll through if you're touring Belfast. If you've more time to spare, take a picnic blanket and enjoy lunch on the lawn.

“Tranquil place to relax”
Reviewed May 6, 2014

There is a natural beauty and tranquility as you wander these Botanic Gardens in the heart of Belfast. It seems incredible that such displays were available in the middle of this city. We seemed to hit this attraction on the cusp of season-change, so we did not see as much as we would have liked to have seen. Some displays were breathtakingly stunning, while others were in the midst of being transformed. Also, some of the areas, and glass houses, were out of commission, which was a shame. However, for whiling away a couple of magic hours - then this should be on your list of visits.

“Much needed rescue from New England”
Reviewed May 2, 2014

The flowers in the Botanic Gardens were lovely in April. The glass house, dogs in the park, friendly people, and the warm sunshine were a wonderful welcome to Belfast during what seemed like an eternal winter back home in New England.
