Although we visited in February (not particularly the peak season for gardens!) we found the gardens attractive and well laid-out. The palm house is a fascinating structure by itself, let alone the interesting plants within. The Ulster Museum is adjacent to the gardens and is well worth a visit.

You forget you're in the middle of Belfast when walking around these gardens. Its a lovely wee walk & on good days great to have a picnic & just take some time out to relax! Bliss

Lovely old garden area beside Queen's University with an historic glasshouse. Close to he University, the Ulster Museum and many pubs and restaurants. On a main bus route also.

Good gardens and beautiful flower beds depending on time of year. Hot house with tropical plants and fish ponds a delight. Green houses with many flowers nice to see. Museum just beside it.

We didn't spend a lot of time there, but the place is VERY picturesque, quiet, peaceul with walking paths and some very cool looking glass houses for plants which were cutting edge when built in the 1830's and are still more than relevant today. Very well maintained and a good place to stroll through on your way to or from the nearby Ulster Museum. This place is a real credit to the city...and I am not even into plants...
