A short walk across the street from the train station and I was "home"! Zeus welcomed me from his station over looking Botanic and Corrinne welcomed me from behind the desk. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, the food and drinks are divine and the staff are pleasant and helpful.
What a fun area! Great vintage shop across the street and a block or so down, Starbucks across the street and a block or so the other direction. Great people watching...excellent happy hour. Even the street side rooms are quiet. I can not wait to go back....

Room Tip: Room 204 has Zeus right outside your window

Myself and my (new) husband eloped to Belfast and stayed in Madison's over Halloween this year.I can honestly say that it was the best few days away ever. The staff couldn't have been nicer, the rooms were lovely,Corrinne at Reception was a total star-organized our stay with great care, even to the much appreciated upgrade. We had a ball in the bar, cocktail Happy Hour is great!!Had a lovely meal in the restaurant, complete with Spooky Waitresses in Halloween costumes. From start to finish the staff were fabulous. We felt at home. Will most definately be back.

Arrived on Sunday for a post birthday treat arranged by my partner. Room was a superior room and maybe it was seemed to have been recently refurbished but not to an incredible standard. My partner had arranged champagne for the room and we had a nice view over the street. Unfortunately the room was very cold and to be truthful never reached a comfortable temperature for me. There was supposed to be complimentary water and fruit provided, neither of which was in the room. We were going out for dinner so we left at this point. On our return the room was still cold and I could find no temperature controls, the television was badly pixelated and the wi-fi was useless(but free). The bed seemed comfortable so I decided to go to bed, not enough pillows, there was only a sheet and a throw, no duvet or blankets.

Breakfast had good hot selection, was tasty and staff helpful and friendly.

All in all it was an average stay.

Madison's is a nice hotel, staff were very friendly and very very helpful, booking a taxi etc.. check in and check out were straightforward. Room was fine, bed comfortable. Had dinner in the hotel, this was good and reasonably priced, nothing outstanding though. Breakfast was lovely, freshly cooked, plenty of juice, toast and cereals too. Fairly central, though we used taxis to get around. Would recommend for an overnight stay.

Room Tip: Asked for a quiet room as other reviewers had said music had kept them awake, room was on the 3rd fl...

My boyfriend and I have stayed at Madisons twice and we have booked again for December 2012 and New Year. We have stayed in the Superior room twice and loved them. We booked for the Lazy Days deal which is great as you don't have to vacate until 2pm with brekkie brought to the room. We like this hotel because of its location. Its close to the City Centre and we like to go to Botanic Gardens and also to the Ormeau road, both of which are within walking distance of the hotel. The staff in Madisons are really friendly and very helpful. We haven't really ate in the hotel except for the breakfast which is yummy. Defo going back!

Room Tip: Superior rooms are a great size with kingsize bed but there is some noise from the bar and club belo...

An excellent boutique hotel. Welcoming atmosphere, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are well equipped and clean and comfortable. Very good and appetising breakfast with lots of choices. Hotel has a lively ambiance, and entertainment on some nights in the well-stocked bar. Also for those who like to 'go clubbing' there is Madison's own club situated within the hotel. Centrally situated for all the city attractions, with a local station nearby as well as bus routes, and I would thoroughly recommend it.
