We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Ravenhill during our recent visit to Belfast. It is a lovely and well appointed house and is beautifully run by a charming and attentive host. Roger is a fount of information and makes wonderful and varied breakfasts. The Ravenhill is well located, with off-street parking and easy bus access to the major attractions and restaurants in downtown Belfast. Since driving in Belfast can be a challenge, given many one way streets, the convenience of the bus is significant. We look forward to returning to Belfast and to staying again at the Ravenhill!

We were met with an afternoon tea by Roger, on our arrival in Belfast. This was the start of a great stay with Roger and Olive at Ravenhill. The rooms were a good size, comfy and quiet. Location was ideal with easy access to the city centre. Nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast offered many choices and was most enjoyable.

What a great base from which to explore Belfast. Handy to transport, great local pubs for dinner and, in one case, real Irish music, comfy room and a great breakfast. Our hosts, Roger and Olive, were most friendly and went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we needed, including off-street parking for the hire car. They were also able to provide accurate local knowlege to help us find our way around Belfast. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer.

Roger and Olive were perfect hosts for our two day stay in Belfast. Our GPS found it easily even in Belfast's rush hour. The B&B is conveniently located on Ravenhill Road just a short bus ride outside downtown Belfast on the #7 bus - way better than braving Belfast traffic and limited parking. We had room #7 on the ground floor. It wasn't huge, but it was very comfortable. The bed was great and the shower was amongst we had in Ireland. Breakfast was perfect in every regard (especially the homemade muesli). I opted for grilled kipper one morning, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. Roger is great for information on things to do and places to eat - his suggestion to try the Mourne Seafood Bar while downtown was inspired. For dinners, the Ormeau Road market area is a seven minute walk away - we especially enjoyed the Errigle Inn (best seafood chowder of the many we tried in the UK & Ireland) and the Bengal Brasserie (wonderful service and excellent Indian food, not to mention complimentary after dinner drinks). This is definitely the place to stay when visitng Belfast, a delightful and enjoyable city.

This was our second visit at the Ravenhill Guest House - we were here for three days
at the end of July. This stay was just as enjoyable as the first one! Both times we have stayed in the main floor guest room which is perfect for anyone who prefers not to do stairs.
It is a beautiful room - it is very quiet, ,has a newly renovated bathroom with a great shower, a super comfortable king size bed with lovely bed linens, TV, etc. - everything you need.
Roger is the consummate hose - he greeted us with coffee and biscuits - just like old friends.
He takes endless time to discuss your needs - he made recommendations for restaurants and tourist suggestion. He was very helpful in finding me finding a dentist - which I really appreciated. The home is in a lovely residential area - close walking distance to a street of
restaurants, businesses, banks - a very safe, comfortable area.
We looked forward to breakfast - cooked to your request - wonderful sausages and Irish
oatmeal!!
We highly recommend the Ravenhill Guest House - staying here was a true pleasure
and we would certainly return.

We highly recommend the Ravenhill Guest

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights and would definitely choose to stay here again. Roger was very welcoming and helped with luggage, etc. Breakfast was fabulous--best porridge I had in IRL/Northern IRL. The location is good--easy walk to an active street, and easy to drive to/park at. Our room was clean and well decorated, making it really easy to relax and just enjoy. I definitely hope to make it back here someday.

The Ravenhill Guest House was a magnificant place to stay in Belfast. The rooms were nicely decorated and very warm. The bathroom was nice and large. Everything about our stay was wonderful. Roger and Olive put on a fantastic breakfast every morning with freshly made orange juice, cereal and fruit dishes. The hot breakfasts were very tasty and delicious. The homemade breads were delightful. We stayed with Roger and Olive for two days at the end of our two week stay in Ireland. Not only did we find a great place to stay but made lifetime friends with Roger and Olive. We would definitely go back to Ravenhill if we were to visit Belfast again.
