Have never stayed here, though those who have always respond positively. However, regularly use this venue for small conferences and meetings, and could not be more positive about the facilities and staff. Also the restaurant is excellent. It always offered huge portions, but now the emphasis is on quality as well as value for money.

We stayed for two nights, bed and breakfast, but with dinner for a large party in the restaurant on the first night. The staff in the restaurant both for dinner and breakfast were excellent, particularly Ross, Stuart and Evangeline who were very professional, courteous and did their utmost to meet our diverse needs. The food was excellent, and plentiful! The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds. The provision of quality hair dryers was appreciated. Finally, I would commend the Reception staff for their efficiency, friendliness and care. We'll be back, I'm sure.

Just stayed here again. Stayed previously in the standard rooms, but this time decided to stay in an Executive Double - well worth the extra money. TV's in the bathroom, plenty of room in the bathroom and room's very spacious.

Also had meals in the Bar, portions large. However, service slow on the Saturday night (we did go down at 6.30pm, not realising that meals were only served to 7.00pm). However, when we had booked out on Sunday and went to the bar for a snack prior to our flight home (Father's Day) we did manage to get a table and the service was a lot better and it was a lot busier.

Reception also ordered us a Taxi, the taxi driver was very friendly and courteous and told us things on the way into the city. It only costs £6.50 for the taxi from the Hotel to the Castle View Centre.

Would definetly stay here again when visiting Belfast.

Stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. I found the hotel to be clean and well presented and the staff extremely helpful especially after I left a pair of shoes in my room and they posted them back to me. I will book again on my next trip to Belfast!

Not speaking as hotel residents, but we have dined in the restaurant on occasion over recent years and can report that huge improvements in the restaurant have occured in the last year that makes this establishment well worth a visit if you are after a nice meal in an eclectic, though family-friendly, atmosphere.

Waiting staff now represent the local region - no language barriers complicating things like before - are attentive, efficient and friendly. Just what patrons need when visiting tourist-friendly Belfast.

Though prices have climbed somewhat on the menu the quality justifies the change. Had a starter of crispy salt and chilli squid which was as tender as it could possibly be - 6 year old son enjoyed it as much as I did! the honeyed breast of duck was cooked as requested - well done - yet was meltingly tender - accompanying potato rosti was crisp and negated the need for us ordering a side dish of chunky fries. The fries were perfection by the way.
Corn fed chicken on a bed of buttered mash with forest mushroom cream and griddled fennel was a dream - no need to go any further. Order it!!!

Greeting overall was very welcoming - the whole establishment overall has a new 'feel' to it which we have noticed since we dined there a year ago, we actually wanted to book a room and stay over the night even though we live very close by! in all, whatever has happened regarding management/admin etc...keep it going - we locals notice it and going by recent reviews so are visiting guests. We just found it nice to be able to communicate easily with staff...other hotels in the area should take note (???).

Well done Park Avenue. Will be back!

I stayed here 1st-3rd June along with my friend and her daughter. We can't praise the hotel enough, staff were friendly, rooms clean and well stocked with tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and toiletries.Breakfast was first class, we had dinner on Sat in the bar which was excellent. Staff called a taxi for us any time we needed one (which was pretty often), it cost about £6 into the city center, a lot cheaper than taking the car & paying for parking. This was my first time staying here and it won't be my last. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in Belfast.

Nicely appointed rooms, in the heart of a "village " area of Belfast known as Strandtown, this hotel scores highly on a number of points.

It's in close proximity to George Best airport (about £6 by taxi), but set quitly in its own grounds with great car parking.

It has a decent restaurant and good food in the bar as well, which does a brisk trade with the locals , especially over lunch time.

A stroll beyond the gates brings every local amenity you'd ever need, from Tesco local to a choice of decent modestly priced restaurants, a neatly kept multiplex cinema and a 24 hour petrol station,

All the major city centre haunts are within 10 minutes by cab and several local bus routes, as is the Odyssey centre, the Titanic centre and the local village of Holywood. This area of the city also provides easy access to the main arterial routes to explore the rest of Northern Ireland, with the furthest away destinations like Enniskillen about an hour and forty minutes away.

Staff are very friendly, this is a family business, and combine this with good local knowledge and a willingness to assist you don't tend to get in the huge chains.

If you stay there venture to Holywood for a meal at the Dirty Duck. It's a local landmark and justifiably so.

I suppose I'm lucky, I can walk there!
