After my long journey up it was great to be greated by such friendly staff. Though not centrally located Maranatha House was easy to find. I had just turned onto Ravenhill Road and suddenly my car conked it. I rang the reception and both the housekeeper and the owner were kind enough to come and give me a push. Once settled into my room the housekeeper was kind enough to make me a cup of tea and advise me on what to see on my visit.
The rooms are modern and very well kept, and the bed was massive, loved it. After my greats night sleep I was delighted to find the breakfast catered well for vegetarians, offering choices of ceral, fruit, yoghurt, bread and a cooked breafast.

Great place to stay just 2 miles out from busy Belfast. Very comfortable, great fresh breakfasts and friendly, helpful hosts. Greatly recommended by the four sisters from Yorkshire.

I enjoyed my stay here at the Maranatha Guest House very much. It was a very friendly place, with a lovely breakfast, clean rooms and bed and nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Trying hard to find negative things to say, I can only come up with a mental wifi connection at the top of the building, the dining room and lounge which were rather cold while the bedrooms were beautifully heated.
My room was spacious, spotlessly clean -and I am rather hygiene obsessed- and reasonably sound proof. No noise from the outside but I had a room at the back -overlooking roofs, and hills in the distance.
The full Ulster breakfast was very fresh, good and generous.
The hosts and staff were friendly and helpful.
Saying that I can't wait to go back to Maranatha House sounds cheesy but it happens to be true.
I highly recommend it. Don't you let yourself be deterred by the distance from the city center, it's only 20 minutes' walk and the price to pay to stay in a quiet area.

I travel to Belfast on business on regular occasions and have stayed in a number of B&B's/Guesthouses across the city. Maranatha Guest House is undoubtably the best I have stayed in. It is warm, friendly, clean and goes the 'extra bit' towards making a stay that much more enjoyable. I also felt it represented excellent value I have no problems in recommending this establishment to anyone.
