“A perfect place to stay!”
Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

Cosy, clean and friendy place to be. The staff was really customer oriented and really nice. You really felt appreciated as a customer. Staff gave excellent tips on what to do and where to eat. Location is really nice and convenient. Although it is located in the studentarea of Belfast, the Lodge is very quiet and secluded. Breakfast is really nice and has quite good variety.
Highly recommended!

Tara Lodge is well located in Belfast within walking distance of several restaurants, cafes and the stunning university and gardens.
Rooms are standard size but very well appointed, comfortable and spotless. The B&B gives great tips on local attractions and dining options. Directed us to a great modern restaurant called Gingers about 15 minutes stroll and Benedicts a lovely old pub about 10 minutes walk. The staff are kind and efficient organising tours and anything you need with no fuss and at short notice. Breakfast generous with many options.

We stayed at Tara lodge for 2nights this past week. We had an extremely comfortable room, fabulous breakfasts, and gracious staff. All staff exceeded our expectations and were more than willing to provide whatever assistance possible. They even found a secure place to store our tandem bicycle. (not an easy task!) Thank you all so much for helping make our 1st visit to Belfast such a pleasant one!

We stayed here for a short visit to Belfast for a wedding and we could not have asked for better service from the staff. Friendly and helpful, it made the stay a pleasure.
The hotel's location is right off the busy Botanic Street, a 5 minute walk from the beautiful Queen's University and the Botanic Gardens, and a 10-15 walk from the centre of town. Lots of pubs/restaurants nearby.
The room was clean, modern and absolutely great for our needs. There was a kettle and tea/coffee/biscuits for those who complain when there isn't! Breakfast was very tasty and with lots of choice.
Would recommend highly.

I return to this hotel time and time again because of the outstanding quality of the accommodation and service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Ricky excelled as always. I noticed that when other guests arrived when he was helping us he always acknowledged them rather than ignoring them as happens in most hotels.

The only minus point this hotel earns is its location. Being in the student part of Belfast it is very noisy in the early hours at the weekend. The hotel has addressed this with quadruple glazing. Unfortunately i have to have the window open to sleep. Having said that, I don't expect a city hotel to be peaceful. I would never choose to stay anywhere else in Belfast. Even if it cost half as much.

We had a two night stay in this newer small hotel, nicely appointed, with some off street parking. The dining room was bright, clean and the wait staff was plentiful and attentive. Breakfasts were excellent.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Tara Lodge in June. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the red headed waiter was good fun! The room was very clean, a good size, with a comfy bed. You can walk to town and should go to city hall for a tour. It is beautiful and was recommended by a staff member. I have already advised our travel agent to recommend it to future travellers.
