I return to this hotel time and time again because of the outstanding quality of the accommodation and service. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Ricky excelled as always. I noticed that when other guests arrived when he was helping us he always acknowledged them rather than ignoring them as happens in most hotels.

The only minus point this hotel earns is its location. Being in the student part of Belfast it is very noisy in the early hours at the weekend. The hotel has addressed this with quadruple glazing. Unfortunately i have to have the window open to sleep. Having said that, I don't expect a city hotel to be peaceful. I would never choose to stay anywhere else in Belfast. Even if it cost half as much.

We had a two night stay in this newer small hotel, nicely appointed, with some off street parking. The dining room was bright, clean and the wait staff was plentiful and attentive. Breakfasts were excellent.

We really enjoyed our 3 night stay at the Tara Lodge in June. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, and the red headed waiter was good fun! The room was very clean, a good size, with a comfy bed. You can walk to town and should go to city hall for a tour. It is beautiful and was recommended by a staff member. I have already advised our travel agent to recommend it to future travellers.

Tara Lodge was booked for us as a present from our family and after reading the reviews we were really looking forward to our stay and were definitely not disappointed. Our room was in the house next door it was spotless and a good size very comfortable with nice furnishings ( I think it is mentioned that there is no lift in this building and we were at the top so something to think about if you don't like stairs) It was only a couple of steps into the breakfast room where we were looked after very well by all the staff. The food was very good well prepared and well presented which gave us an excellent start to the day - Tara Lodge is a very stylish place to stay.

We loved the location with good restaurants nearby and would certainly stay again - Belfast is a lovely city people went out of their way to be so helpful and friendly we had a really enjoyable weekend and are looking forward to a return visit.

We arrived in Belfast from Southampton last Saturday . Found the hotel and our stay was met with friendly receptionist, waitors and hotel staff . Ricky was great and helped us with routes in and out of the city and advising us where to go and where to eat. Thank you, we would definitely use TaraLodge on our return. We loved the black taxi tour and especially the Titanic Exhibition.

Located between the university and town, Tara Lodge is central but quiet. The staff were attentive, cheerful and helpful - a tribute the the Lodge. Our room was just like the picture, spotless and comfortable. Only criticism was the creaky floorboards - both sides of the bed at the foot unfortunately so difficult to avoid (Rm 31). Ensuite bathroom was fabulous - modern with style and great toiletries (ones that I might even use!) Parking is on first-in basis, under CCTV and behind a secure gate closed at night - a bit tight with some pillars in the way but only a minor issue. Breakfast was very good with lots to chose from, continental and cooked. Enjoyed their whiskey porridge - worth trying. For dinner, 1min walk to main street and you have multiple choices at multiple price points. Highly recommend for any stays in Belfast.

Room Tip: Chose higher rooms to reduce noise

All of the staff here are excellent. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Breakfast was nice. The hotel is near plenty of restaurants/pubs. It's about a 15min stroll to the city centre. Private car park on the hotel grounds was convient.
