Myself and a party of 22 stayed at Benedicts on 28th April for my hen. I must say from the mionutes we entered the hotel til the minute we left we were treated really well. The rooms were gorgeous and tastefully decorated and had everything you would expect from a 4 star with extras like bottled water, newspaper. I stayed in the executive room which was really spacious with a large King bed, 32 inch tv and a Jacuzzi. We booked a package with the hotel for £70 that included a cocktail class (2 cocktails), 4 course meal and bed and breakfast and it was a bargain. Brian the Bar Manager taught us how to make cocktails, he was so good to us during our stay and such a genuine nice fella, an assest to the Hotel.
The cocktail class was great craic and would suit a large party (hen, stag or a big birthday party). After the cocktail class we all got ready and went for our meal in the restaurant, which was beautifully laid out and had a warm welcoming feeling to it. It was jammed pack and I honestly thought we would be waiting a while as there was so many of us, but it all went so qucik, no waiting about between courses and the Staff were so efficient and nice. We reserved an area downstairs in the main bar, which I was glad we did as it was packed, so I would definately recommend reserving an area if you are in a large party. The music was brilliant playing music to suit all ages from Whitney Houston to David Guetta and all the Old Skool tunes, I didn't sit down. Again Brian was up making sure we were all ok, as were bar staff taking orders and the bouncers were on stand by as there was a few drunken fellas trying to worm their way up into our area, I swear we were treated really well, the hotel didnt have to do this for us but went our of their way in every aspect to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We stayed there all night then headed up to the resident bar, which sold drink until 3am. I would definately go back to this hotel, the food, decor, service, staff, entertainment was outstanding, its hard to find a hotel that you would give 10 out of 10 to on every aspect, but Benedicts certainly did, so Thank you sooooo much to Brian and all the Staff I had the best hen party ever, hope to see use again soon, thanks Denise x

We were in Belfast for 6 days attending meetings at Queen's University and found Benedicts as it was within walking distance (5 minutes) to the University. The website for the hotel looked intriguing with its Gothic interiors, but it was even more special than what we expected. All the staff were wonderful and friendly! By the time we left we were on a first name basis with many of them. Breakfast is terrific, with your choice of cold items or a cooked breakfast that is to die for! Nothing like starting your day out right! The bar and restaurant space is amazing with attention to detail and craftsmanship that you don't often find. It looks like it has been there for 100 years, but in reality the hotel is only about 14 years. Great care has been taken to make the place feel special. The rooms are spacious and modern.
The location is wonderful with easy access to the Center City. Parking is offsite and a bit of a hassle, but we really didn't need to use our car much at all as taxi's in Belfast are reasonable. Belfast is a city remaking itself and a place that should be on your visit list! We walked around town feeling very safe and the people are just wonderful. Can't wait to visit again!

Room Tip: As stated above, select a room on the 3rd floor and away from the street if noise is an issue as the...

We stayed last night 25th April, to celebrate our silver wedding anniversary. This is a beautiful hotel, great room, great beds, as another person said rooms hot but just turn down heat, button beside bathroom door.
We had a beauiful meal in the restaurant and the Restaurant Manager is a great guy, so friendly and efficient and even served us breakfast this morning. I could not see your name badge, meant to ask but we were chatting so much I forgot. (Guy with beard)The staff makes this hotel special, from check in to check out and I know about hotel staff I used to be a receptionist in The Everglades Hotel in Londonderry. Coming in quite late from the Stephen Nolan show Gary, the general manger served us drinks. He is such a lovely fella, we had a bit of banter over the bar with him.
I am brininging 6 friends for a meal on May 29th, I hope the Beat the clock menu is still on, its fantastic value. Keep up the great work and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

Room Tip: higher up if you want an early night, lower down you van hear bar music.

Beds were phenomenal. They're a bit high off the ground compared to most hotels. I don't mind since I'm on the taller side but I guess it could be a problem for less mobile guests. They are super comfortable though. As a boutique hotel, there's no surprise that the room decor is really modern and well done.

We arrived a bit early and they were busy as it was Mothers Day, but they took our bags and offered us a free drink at the restaurant/bar. We headed out for a bit and when we came back the rooms were ready. Our room view wasn't great but we weren't there in the city expecting or needing a view.

The club attached next door was a madhouse for the holiday, but I absolutely loved it. After some touring around the city we spent much of our night on the property enjoying just how crazy the place gets on Mothers Day.

The staff was very friendly and the included breakfast at the restaurant was great. The restaurant has a very warm and charming feel.

I fell in love with Belfast and this accomodation played its role. We were only in town for one night but I'm already planning a week long stay next year and intend to spend the whole week at Benedicts.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor and noise from downstairs was never a problem.

A very pleasant hotel with my only issue, which is in common with other hotels, that the room was too hot at night. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good.

Benedicts is midway between Queen's University and City Center, and well within walking distance of both. It sits smack-dab in the middle of Belfast's lively night life as well! Lavery's is across the street, and Benedicts own club is on the first floor. Older guests at the hotel may not appreciate the music or crowds, but the bar/club is known far and wide as THE place to party! If you're a guest in the hotel and don't want to be disturbed, do yourself a favor and ask for a room away from the street and elevator (lift). Upstairs from the club, the restaurant is top-notch - with a wide selection of delicious food and an atmosphere to die for! Benedicts is THE place to keep your finger on the pulse of Belfast!

Room Tip: Street-side is party-side... if that's not your cup of tea, ask for a room away from both the st...
