Visited Made in Belfast last Sunday evening. They can serve you a dish here to suit your personal dietry requirements.

The food was very good and the only complaint I would make was that the chicken was very salty.

The tables and chairs were not the most comfortable.

I would recommend this restaurant to friends.

Thank sugared

Ate here on Saturday night as a party of four. Atmosphere was brilliant and all of our food was great..our waitress was more than accommodating and advised us on the trendy places to go after our meal ( ended up in The Hudson ) great spot..we came quite late with no booking but this was no problem we were given the comfy sofas to sit and wait with a drink with constant communication as to when our table would be ready ..thumbs up ( normally in Belfast u are looked down at for coming in late).. In fact we were even advised to come in for breakfast the next morning great place and customer service

We tried here having been recommended by friends and loved it. From the quirky seating and a chandelier made from glass bottles, the interior is slightly strange but cool. We had cocktails which were fantastic and our meal was delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone!

We had dinner on a Friday night and we weren't impressed for a number of reasons; first, what's up with the seating? running along the side of the restaurant is a long, fixed bench seat and when my girlfriend sat there she was sitting much higher than me on my rickety, cheap deckchair style seat that was facing her (we're both the same height so there was no point in swapping places) - think Christmas day and the emergency chairs style set-up. not good.

Secondly the staff....if i was feeling generous i would call them not particularly friendly although more accurately i would say they were abrupt and a little surly....all the staff we encountered seemed a little too cool for school. Basic requests - ordering another drink etc were met with far from enthusiastic responses (almost like sulky kids)....constantly being asked if we were ready to order at the start was really also a bit annoying - especially as the restaurant was nowhere near full and quite apart from the fact we hadn't even taken that long reading the menu in the first place

The final grumble was that our main course arrived literally just as our starter course (which we certainly hadn't taken an age in finishing) had been cleared from our table - neither of us was ready for it and sending it back to keep warm in the kitchen wasn't appealing either so it put a dampener on the whole meal.

We wouldn't be in a rush to go back anytime soon and in an increasingly competitive area of town there are definitely better places to part with your cash.

This restaurant is worth a visit in Belfast. The shabby chick decor makes it a different dining experience. Although we did not receive a warm friendly welcom on arrival, the place stimulated our curiosity to have stayed, with good results. The service was prompt, and the wine recommendations sound. The menu is somewhat limited but food was excellent. Good portions were served.
We were unable to find the the restaurant initially and I would think that the owners can do something to make it easier to identify it from the street.
I will regard the prices to be on th ehigh side.
