We stayed on a Monday evening at the Hotel - and were given one of the apartments across the road from the Hotel. The room was very luxurious and had everything you could ever want. Close to city centre. The staff were very friendly and helpful - Breakfast was tremendous.

Would definately stay again.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Belfast. It is just a quick taxi ride to the city centre but is also within comfortable walking distance for those who prefer the walk. The hotel itself is in a quiet residential area. It was spotlessly clean, the reception / housekeeping staffs were so friendly and accommodating to any requests we had. Our apartment was absolutely gorgeous. We had dinner in the hotel during our stay and again this was simply first class. I would give this hotel 10 out of 10. I will certainly be back!

We chose the Malone Lodge for the venue of my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary. Te food and service where both excellent. They catered really well for 20 people and with a mixture of adults and children, all our needs where readily met.

Would really recommend the Malone Lodge for a nice dinner for a family event. It really contributed to the success of the event.

Thank you to all the staff. We will be back.

Arrived at the Malone on an extermely wet Thursday. On entering the hotel, we were met by a very pleasant member of staff at reception who checked us in promptly.

We were allocated room 301 which was at the rear of the hotel, an attic room but large and very tastefully decorated with all the facilities you would expect. Also, had a good view of the car park which was appreciated to keep an eye on the car. Other reviewers mentioned the noise at the rear of the hotel, although there was a noise we did not find that it disturbed us.

Loved the walk in shower, flat screen TV and 2 comfy chairs, usually in a twin room you get one chair and the other person has to sit on the bed. Also complimentary water provided which was appreciated after emptying the car of luggage!

The breakfast was very nice, with cereals, fruit, yoghurt, toast and a full cooked irish. The staff are extermely nice and helpful, providing all the relevant information you need.

Overall, we would recommend the Malone to anyone visiting Belfast, 10 mins on the bus to the city centre and plenty of shops, restaurants and banks within easy walking distance. Try the Villa Italia, good food at a reasonable proce.

Malone Lodge was opened at the turn of the Millennium and is starting to be a tiny bit shabby in places. The rooms at the front are light, spacious and airy, but who could sleep soundly in the rooms at the back? There was massive static machinery noise day and night with a special treat at 5am when a revving up sound began and continued every couple of minutes for half an hour. Then at 8am, pressure hosing of the flat roof level with our room began! What a treat for an insomniac. BUT the staff did respond immediately to our request to move to the front. Surely not the first time this has happened.
