Arrived on Tuesday 23rd November and checked in at about 3 o'Clock. Beautiful lobby and polite receptionist. Room was absolutely bloodly freezing on entering. Kept our coats on while unpacking. For an executive room it was pretty small but huge bed.The next day went shopping, it was a really cold day and I was glad to be returning to my hotel after 5 hours. NO WAY, someone had switched off the heating and the room was freezing again. Are the cleaners told to turn it off? I headed for a hot shower to thaw out! Out on the town later on. Had some drinks and meal in the Merchant Hotel, great bars, great craic and finished off in my hotel bar. Next morning paid our bill and left. Although, it would have been nice if someone had asked "How was your stay!!!" I've always found that natural friendliness, is better than paid politeness!!! I will however say it was very clean but very clinical. Not worth £110 per night with no breakfast and pay for use of the car-park. Very central and convenient to shopping areas, opera house and lots of lovely bars.

Well located. Staff were great as we had few delays due to flight cancellations. Rooms were small but well presented and clean.
We were there on honeymoon and had a wonderful time.

A girlie shopping trip near turned disaster when Alpharooms messed up our booking. Despite having paid for 3 rooms we found they had only sent one booking to the Europa. The initial girl (Rebecca I think) hadn't been much help and advised us we needed to ring Alpharooms (who later found out farm booking out to various other sites). Her managert Mr McGinn then called me to discuss the issue. He himself called Alpharooms and sorted out the issue, providing us with the necessary rooms and said he would follow up with them himself. If it hadn't been for him the weekend would of been a disaster. Rooms were great, beds v comfy and a pleasure to stay there.

I stay in belfast a lot but have to say that the europa is the pick of the bunch. From the staff to the late night bar you are always guaranteed a great city centre hotel experience. Perfect location and great value for money
