My review is based on the catering, following a recent event we attended. The hotel catered for 250 people, serving 5 course meal which was highly exceptional. From the starter to the dessert the food was top nosh, along with great service. Staff were very polite and efficient. I would definitely return to this hotel for a meal.

Location - right in the centre of Belfast beside Great Victoria Street train and bus station. Ideal for shopping, eating and drinking.
Check in - efficient, friendly and swift. We were upgraded to the Rhone Suite
Room - 7th floor, large with separate dining area/lounge , flat screen tv, fridge, sofa, dining table and chairs, magazines. King size bed with crisp white cotton duvet cover and sheets. Flat screen in bedroom too and plenty of wardrobe space. Robe and slippers provided. Bathroom had bath and large separate shower. The windows must be triple glazed because once we closed them we could no longer hear the street noise.
Breakfast - we paid £5 extra to have it delivered to our room. It was beautiful, all local produce, beautiful bacon, eggs, sausage, soda bread, mushroom, tomato, toast, fruit salad, fresh orange juice and tea. Cereals, croissants etc also available.
A great stay, we'll be back.
(There isn't a swimming pool but I can't remove the stars below)

Room Tip: Politely ask for an upgrade

Stayed 3 nights on tour group. Staff was welcoming and efficient. Clean and well appointed. Restaurant and piano bar very good with excellent service. Good location within walking distance of city hall, shopping, entertainment, churches.
Free Wifi only available in lobby area...have to pay for room wifi. (Lobby wifi did extend to our room at times.) Noisy outside overnight with window open, with active bars and opera hall venues across street/adjacent.
Truly enjoyed excellent Irish hospitality on our first trip to Ireland.

We stayed here in September with another couple.. Arrived in the afternoon and met with a friendly concierge who allowed us to park outside until we had checked in and then showed us where to park locally. The girls on reception were friendly and efficient. The room was perfect, small but perfectly formed, exactly what you need for a city break.-bed really comfortable fab modern bathroom with power shower. We had booked a dinner package. it was fantastic-great choice on menu and beautifully presented. Breakfast was buffet style with everything you could possibly want. This hotel is right in the centre of Belfast-right next to the bus/train station with parking close by if needed. You can walk to the shopping area city in less than 5 minutes and it is right next door to the Opera House. The bar upstairs is very comfortable for a relaxing drink.
Overall we had a very enjoyable stay. I would stay there again and would recommend to anyone planning a trip to Belfast..

We stayed in this hotel bacause it was the most bombed building during the "Troubles" and President Clinton stayed here. This hotel is walking distance fromm everything. The hotel has a large lobby bar that was cheap to drink in. Dublin is a 2 hour ride in a car and about 1.5 hours by train. If you are going to drive from Belfast to Dublin or if you are staying in Dublin and want to drive to Belfast make sure the rental car company knows. Some rental car company's will not let you drive to or from each place.

Room Tip: The rooms are small so if you have the chance to upgrade it is worth it. It seems that the rooms wit...

Decided to stay here after staying at another Hastings Group Hotel at Ballgally Castle. This is not a cheap place to stay but if you want to spoil yourself this is the place to be. It is situated very close to the town centre and the whole city precinct is easy walking. They sell the hop on hop off bus tickets and you will be collected from the door of the hotel. The service is outstanding and the ambiance of the hotel is great. I suppose that is why Bill Clinton stayed there. The are three Irish bars situated straight across the road and if you like Irish music they are great places to visit. There are also more pubs that are great within easy walking distance. The rooms are a good size and sleep quality was superb. The food at the Europa is excellent and very good value. Always fresh from local suppliers and the menu range would meet most tastes. If in Belfast, stay at the Europa. More expensive than a lot of the hotels but you can't beat the quality.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the front of the hotel. Not a lot to look at out the back.
