Very good location at the center of Belfast. Nice view of the city from the 11th floor.
Rooms are comfortable and more spacious than most European hotel rooms. Free Wifi at the ground ande first floor. 5 minutes from the smaller Belfast airport.

Very clean, friendly service and has a very reasonably priced restaurant and piano bar at the ground floor.

Known as the most bombed hotel in the world (28 times during the Northern "troubles"). It has been rebuilt multiple times and is a gorgeous hotel. We stayed on the 11th floor and the view was stunning! Hotel was in a great location. Room and bathroom were VERY nice and clean. The restaurant (we had breakfast only) was GREAT (selection, quality). Restaurant staff and cooks were very friendly! Nice sitting areas (two floors of it with a mini bar on the 2nd floor).

Staying on thursday 27th June at the Europa for the first time. Hotel was very clean and looks very extremely well. Rom was clean, a good size with a decent bathroom.

My problems
========

Was given a room beside the lift which wasn't great because at night the lift was noisy when working and when persons were coming out off the lift they were noisy. This wasn't that bad but at 0800hrs the next morning the room maids knocked on my door to gain entry. Strange time to be looking entry to a guests room.

Hotel was beautiful but I will not be returning as I like my sleep.

Always enjoy staying here but they really should provide free wifi to all areas of hotel including rooms. wifi is available in the public areas and seemingly you can get a voucher for room access (wasn't told about it until I was leaving).

Otherwise this hotel really is one of those that I have no problem recommending to family and/or friends.

The location, staff, food, drinks, atmosphere and best of all the bed......perfect. Ideal for all travellers ( even though we only live 13 mile away). Get out and about around the city as they say " bet you haven't see the half of it".

Room Tip: Get a room to the back of the hotel.

The Europa is in a great location, right beside the bus and train termini and a short walk from the city centre. It’s a tower block which tries to look more appealing with a strange frontage and a reception area that wants to be classy but just comes over as jumbled. Still, that's not what you pick a hotel for.
I can’t speak for the standard rooms (some reviews have complained about their small size) but the executive room to which we treated ourselves on a mid-week break was excellent. Big enough to feel roomy even with the king-size bed, and with a good large en-suite with separate bath and shower. Comfortable bed and general ambience made for a good sleep, and the whole place was very clean. Staff were all friendly and helpful.
There are a few niggles. The view from the ninth floor was still largely of other high buildings and a bit depressing. Breakfast was a mixed bag – the cooked side was excellent, local produce well prepared and tasty, while the continental/side range was more limited and a bit disappointing. But the biggest annoyance was the high cost of wi-fi. Perhaps the Europa still think the only people who’ll want to be connected are business types with expense accounts who won’t bother about the cost. A surprising and short-sighted approach.

Room Tip: Executive room - bigger, better, higher up.
