Arrived for lunch at 1.45. shown to table promptly ,meal chosen all good so far. My scampi and chips were so overdone they were in fact burnt , horrible ! While we were eating a suited member of staff leaned across the table to change menus ,not an excuse me ,sorry ladies , nothing ,how rude! Double Espresso arrived in normal coffee cup , already luke warm . We stayed to chat ,had pot of tea and left at 7.45pm ! £12 to get car out of carpark , scandalous.

Dear Marilyn b,
I am very sorry to hear that your overall experience in the hotel was dampened by over cooked food and a less than courteous member of staff. I trust though, apart from these issues, the ambience to relax and chat was more than satisfactory. I truly apologise for the lack of manners on behalf of this member of staff and this is not a true reflection of the attitude of the rest of the staff. With regards to the food offering, the Chef has noted this and will be monitoring closely.
In relation to the car parking, we do not have our own car park and have no control over what the surrounding car parks charge for using their facilities.
Thank you for your comments and giving us the opportunity to work on these areas.
Yours Sincerely,
Lynsey Carroll

The hotel is located in city center and the perfect starting point for exploring the City of Belfast. The staff is friendly, rooms and clean. They have an excellent restaurant at ground floor with a selection of tasty dishes in the mid-price range. The piano bar at 1st floor is worth a visit as well. Just across the street you'll find The Crown Bar which is one of the oldest bars in Belfast. A must-see.

Room Tip: Great Victoria Street is a busy street both day and night.Avoid rooms facing this street if possible...

Dear Liell,
Thank you for writing most kindly about the hotel and what we offer in terms of food & beverage. The Causerie is indeed a lovely informal restaurant offering locally sourced, quality no nonsense food and our Piano Lounge which is perfect to relax, have a drink and watch the world go by. I also thank you for mentioning our friendly staff and excellent attention to cleanliness.
Hopefully see you again soon.
Thanks

despite its large size ( which looks like something from eastern europe) the Europa has a sense of cosyness and familiarity. Much of this is down to the staff who are excellent at making one feel at home. Rooms are very comfortable. Food is good although breakfasts can get busy. The piano bar is a great place to sit and watch the world go by.

Room Tip: executive rooms include breakfast in the price so are good value

Dear nthrubwell,
It is really great to read, all that we envisage to fulfil here in the hotel is written perfectly here within this review. Despite our ability to service large residential conferences and being the largest hotel in Northern Ireland, we have the unique ability to make our guests feel right at home and give that wam welcome.
Hopefully you will be back to visit us soon and thank you for your feedback.
Many thanks

Staying at the Europa Hotel is a must, if your particular about location. The hotel is bang in the centre of the city and it's easy to get anywhere from there. The rooms are very comfortable as well, if anything the shower cubicles are a shade too small. Service is excellent, breakfasts are also great value. For a five star hotel though, I do think they should offer free wifi.
