“RELAXING STAY”
Reviewed August 12, 2011

18 People from 5 different countries and all agreed the hotel provided us with a great food selection, and were flexible to meet some members of the group, with food to suit their eating requirements. Accommodation was good and Staff very attentative to the needs of all. Bedrooms spacious and clean and good sound proofing. Three high speed lifts in operation to bedrooms. Reception personnel and staff in the restaurants were very attentive. A very busy hotel, but yet has a relaxing atmosphere both in the first floor lounge and coffee bar and reception area.

My daughter and I stayed in the Europa Hotel on a busy Saturday night, we stayed in the hotel for an evening meal as well. The food was delicious.
Our room was clean and well kept, and the special little touches were excellent.
the helpfulness of the staff and professional manor made our stay excellent and felt like we were the only people in the hotel The staff were fantastic. Friendly and professional, no request was too much for them.
All in all, we would go back tomorrow and this is largely due to the quality of the staff.

My Sister and I decided on a weekend in Belfast , bought tickets to a concert , booked flights and thought we'd top the whole experience with a stay at this hotel .......... big disappointment

arrived into a room that smelt of vomit ..... found the source on the bed valence and damp carpet , it had been partly cleaned ......... house keeping did come and change it and armed with a unidentified spray bottle tried to clean the carpet ........

off we went to an amazing concert only to return to room which did smell slightly better to be horrified even more .......... my sister went to close the curtains only to have a dirty soiled black bra fall on her head .... I'll admit a chuckle did escape me ....... this was only made more horrific/comical when we saw the body prints on the window glass .......

It's common knowledge that hotels are used by people to let loose and have fun but come on ....... house keeping PLEASE keep on top of it !!!!! pun intended

We did get to change rooms ....... ooooh yes ..... a smaller room .... where .... there was only one bed ...... needless to say we did check out early

Dear Medusa1409,

I am terribly embarrassed to hear of your recent experience here in the hotel with regards to the room. Our Housekeeping Team are normally methodical and meticulous in their cleaning schedules. I do apologise that the room was not serviced properly. Our Housekeeping Manager nor myself will tolerate such lack of care and attention. We have very high standards here at the hotel and are committed to providing the highest in all areas none more so than cleanliness. My apologies once again and I am so sorry for the room not being presented as it should.

Yours Sincerely,

General Managers Office

A nice and pleasing welcome,
On registering at 12 noon were allocated a room on the 9th floor, on asking for a lower floor it was not a problem providing that we were agreeable to wait until 3pm as a room on the 4th floor would not be ready until then. On returning after walkabouts (at 5pm ) we were ready for a lie down and found our room very pleasing indeed. Clean and bright.
The only flaw was no small fridge and no small bottles of drinking water. However as it was only for one night stay this was not an issue. A very comfortable bed and a good nights sleep. On signing out at 6am next morning the receptionist was very cheerful and suggested that if we did have any complaints, which we did not, asked that we tell him so that he could deal with the issue forthwith before we put it on tripadvisor. A very pleasant overnight stay indeed. Pricey for overnight without breakfast but highly recommended.

We stayed in the hotel on Sat night. My husband surprised me for my 30th birthday and I must say the stay was fantastic! We were met by Andy at reception who was extremely friendly and welcoming.. He told us to ask for him if we needed anything which is just the service you look for at a hotel! Rooms spotless and location right in the centre of Belfast. We enjoyed cocktails in the piano bar and the pianist was fab!! We even met Len Goodman from Strictly Come Dancing the following morning before breakfast! Highly recommend it!

My wife and I stayed this weekend (August 2011) in the Europa as part of her birthday celebrations. It was an important event - not allowed to tell her age but she can now travel free in N Ireland! From the moment we entered the hotel we were made to feel welcome by the reception staff especially the Manager, Andrew. Our room was above our expectations for a city centre hotel - compared to other city hotels. It was spacious, massive bed, perfect bathroom and perfectly presented. We spent the day and evening with family in the First Floor lounge and were treated very attentively by all staff members - by the way, the Pina Coladas are well worth trying. Our breakfast was probably the best that we have had in any hotel throughout GB and Europe and it was evident that all nationalities enjoy the good old Ulster Fry!
This, as previously stated, made my wife's birthday and I have no hesitation in recommending the Europa as a place, not only for the business user, but as a place to simply chill out. By the way, Belfast is our home city - great staycation!

I stayed here with friends this weekend, attending The British Transplant Games.
It is a friendly welcoming hotel, very central to all ameneties.

The twin room i shared was very spacious, clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very good, buffet style with hot and cold food. Self service.
Room service was good too and all staff very professional and polite.

Taxi's accross the street although most of the tourist attractions are within walking distance. Bus tour available also, and very informative.

All in all a great weekend.......highly reccomend this hotel.

I got a train from Dublin to belfast central a cab to the hotel £3.50. Or avail of the Victoria station right beside the hotel. Phone a cab is a great service also Value cabs.
Buses are plentiful and cheap also.

Made in Belfast Restaurant i would highly recommend for great food in a funky eaterie.
The Crown Pub directly accross from the hotel, does good bar food/dinners upstairs. The bar itself is very authentic....with good atmosphere and drink of course!
