Again a wonderful reception experience as a Hilton Honor Diamond member, esp. from Damian the manager who always makes an effort to come and meet new and loyal guests. Special mentions for his staff who always make me feel welcome as a returning guest, Alex, Ciaran & Donna. Concierge are fabulous esp. Tony & John. overall very warm welcome.
Conor in the dining area who always looks after my needs.
I love my upgraded corner studio with outstanding views of Belfast and the Titanic Museum.
Looking forward to returning. Well Done Hilton Belfast !

Room Tip: Upgrade to the corner studio with the wonderful executive lounge experience !

I spent a week here in Sept 212 and enjoyed every moment. Nice, comfy rooms and great flat screen TV. The best thing however is the staff. It seemed like everyone knew me after the first day or so, and special kudos go to Arlene at the front desk and to concierge John who helped me set up tours, provided general advice, arranged taxis, and assisted me with some wi fi issues in the lobby.

The only real issue I had was getting my laptop to work on the lobby wi fi and John really tried to help with that--and even let me check email on his computer. Finally, however, Arlene allowed me 24 hours free in-room access because of all these problems--and it was really urgent to check email. Subsequently wi fi worked just fine on my phone. Who can figure???

Loved the hotel and would definitely stay again. If possible book well in advance. I got a great rate doing so, and when I checked later on extending for a night found the rate had skyrocketed.

Also if you need pounds, hotel will make a charge to your room and hand over the cash at no extra charge. Great if .you have not made it to the ATM.

Stayed for weekend on special occasion. Felt special from the moment we entered the hotel. Our name was used on almost all occasions, we felt like the staff new us personally. This is a great touch as some hotels dont acknowledge you. The bedroom was beautiful and very clean. The bed was very big and very comfortable. It had all the amenties you ned and more including 2 lovely bathrobes and slippers. The food was amazing in the restaurant.
The staff in this hotel really make your stay worth while, I have never come acoss a hotel where the staff are so attentive. Amazing stay will be back soon.

I stayed here for three days at the end of August 2012.

Hotel is central to the city centre, about eight minutes walk to the back of City Hall. Rooms were very comfortable and the food was excellent. Both food and accommodation were better than I would have expected. I would like to make reference to the pleasant and helpful staff. Most of them were young people from Belfast. I could not help but think that Belfast has a bright future after all that city was through during the troubled years. While in Belfast I also visited the Titanic Experience and the staff were equally pleasant. May you all make Belfast the special and progressive city it was when Titanic was built.

Always stay at The Hilton when I visit Belfast for shopping trips, nights out, concerts etc. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are quiet, fantastic comfy beds, cosy and some with great views over the river. If you can pay a little extra for an executive room I highly recommend you do. The rooms are fantastic, plus you get access to the executive lounge which serves complimentary soft & alcoholic beverages in the evening, along with lovely hot & cold canapés. All enjoyed in a beautiful lounge overlooking the city & mountain. A nice way to watch the sunset with a glass of wine in hand. The staff are so friendly & helpful. Always smiling. Special mention to manager Damian Gilvary who never forgets a face & welcomes guests warmly. He is constantly at the front of the hotel making sure everything is just perfect. Belfast is a fantastic city with something for everyone, The Hilton is within walking distance of everything you want or need.

First time in Belfast and booked Hilton based on good reviews & location. Excellent access from the airport on the 600 bus (£3.30 return) to stop by Waterfront Hall which is in front of the Hilton. Checkin was quick and efficient. Allocated room on the 12th floor overlooking the river & rail line. Room was on the executive floors which allowed free access to the lounge on the 11th floor which had great views over the city & was well run by a lovely girl who was personable & friendly & had control over the free bar !! The bedroom itself was large, bed comfortable and clean. Bathroom was tidy & modern but ill designed/placed faucet meant when you went to fill the bath the water bounced off the plughole adjuster on the bath and went everywhere, guess you are only meant to have a shower. Housekeeping missed replacing the shower gels the second day but easily remedied with call to reception.

Breakfast was included & taken in the Sonoma restaurant each morning. Again the staff were delightful but the food was just so so , not quite up to expected Hilton standard. Sausages were low quality & not very porky. The bacon although fresh was steamed/baked and very fatty and not at all crispy. Was expecting black pudding and was missing as was smoked salmon, surely a breakfast staple especially at the weekend. Potato farls and fried soda bread were nice as was the chef who cooked fried eggs & omlettes to order. Nice bright room otherwise no other comments.

Sunday morning checkout marred by only having 2 members of staff on the front desks who were both checking people in @ 10 a.m. Note to management, open more positions or just have one person doing checkin & 1 doing checkouts. It is really quite rude to be told to wait behind the other line as there were other people to check in when a checkout only takes a minute while checking in takes much longer. it was Sunday morning after all, prime checking out time. Overall good hotel, close to city center and Belfast is a compact city and great value, the Saturday metro/bus ticket was only £2 for the full day, bargain as was having a drink at the Crown bar & saloon on Great Victoria Street
