Dropped in here for a quick lunch one day when in Belfast with my daughter.... and had a delightful little lunch. Was a bit sceptical when we first went in.... as there was no one in the restaurant... not usually a good sign... but shortly after we arrived a few other came in. The food was excellent, and the staff lovely...would definately return.

Really well done Belfast for creating this area, has good bars and restaurants and wonderful buildings. Will return again and recommend to my friends. Plenty of tourists about real holiday feel about the place.

Most cities have one - a neighbourhood where it's all happening. Belfast has its Cathedral Quarter, packed full of an eclectic array of up-market to budget eateries, galleries, theatre spaces, pubs, etc. It feels alive during the day as well as at night. In 48 hours we took in a lunch-time comedy gig at The Box, Baby It's cold Outside (brilliant!) at The Mac, and had a couple of cracker meals. That's to take nothing away from some of the other parts of Belfast - it's an absorbing city - but for places-to-be-per-square-metre, it's hard to beat.

Spent a Saturday night , hopping round a few pubs and just couldn't get over how many people were out enjoying themselves in a cold February weekend. I thought people were finding things tough but obviously not. Every pub was buzzing (but not in a threatening way). Nice to see Belfast get over itself and get on with life.
