“Too many children”
Reviewed October 6, 2012

This used to be a proper Museum but since it re-opened last year it is seems to be catering for children only. The vast space means sounds echo around. The serious visitor will fine nothing to enjoy.

“Wow”

This is a great museum with so many interesting historical pieces. We all had a great morning there, and it has to be one of the best places to visit.

“good overview”
Reviewed October 3, 2012

Excellent summary of history of Ulster. Exhibition of the troubles was particularly good, but also had a good section to give the background to NI problems. We visited twice, the second time on a weekend so lots of children - but we did manage to escape them most of the time.

“Great museum.”
Reviewed September 26, 2012

We found this museum by accident while walking round the Botanical gardens, there is everything in this museum, with a very detailed map to help you round. There is no admission fee but we did leave a donation to help support this wonderful attraction.

“A night in the Ulster Museum”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

The only thing that I disliked was not having enough time to spend in the Museum as the displays were superb. One of the future attractions was to invite children to spend a night in the museum which I thought was a great idea.
