Enjoyed a visit to the Duke of York. Excellent service at the bar and a good range of beers. Small musical group in the corner added to the atmosphere. Good pub to pass a few hours

went here at the weekend with some mates while on a quick weekend visit. Great wee boozer. Professional bar staff and the music was great graic. The heated entry was particulary good to stand and have a gossip as the pub was packed to the rafters. All available wall and ceiling space is filled with pub mementos - we all had a good laugh at some of the 70's items recalling our youth.
I will be back next time I visit Belfast.

Have not been to this bar for some years but organised to meet up there with two ex work colleagues who were visiting Belfast on business.
I arrived just before my friends and had time to savour the delights of this great bar as I enjoyed my first pint of Guinness. Great decor, staff and atmosphere. On ordering my pint of Guinness, I had to wait for it as the barman followed the hallowed tradition of "a slow pint of Guinness is a good one"!
I know this bar has a great reputation and has many many loyal regulars but if you are visiting Belfast make sure you pay it a visit.

Located in a compact and "go to" part of the City. Very traditional bar with tonnes of character that seems to welcome locals and visitors alike. Loads and loads of history and this place is guaranteed to look like this in 20 years.

Serves a very canny Guinness!

Found this pub walking down the cobble streets & so glad we did as it was my favourite. Different from all the others; very traditional, lots to see & great atmosphere!
