Staff are surly and slow. This place wasn't so bad back in late 90s but has got steadily worse. I stopped in for a pastie supper during lunch time and ended up asking for my money back as ran out of time on my parking ticket and my lunchtime. Shot up the road to Stranmillis and got served in a flash in the chippie.

This is the usual greasy spoon. Avoid if you are a vegetarian as everything is cooked in beef dripping even the so called veggie burger and chips!

Good quality fish and chips in very pleasant setting - handy for the city centre. I never miss a visit to Bishops when I am in Belfast.

What a disappointment. Bishop's was recommended by our tour bus driver as qthe best fish and chips in Belfast. If this is the best I would hate to see the worst. Ordering is anightmare. A couple of sketchy listings on the wall and they are very confusing. The order takers area right out of a movie. The movie being "The Fish and Chip Nazi". They no more wanted to be there than the man in the moon. Service was surly and painfully slow. When the fish and chips showed up they were sub par. Hard to believe that little fish could be hidden in that much batter.

Avoid this spot at all cost.
