“Very enjoyable”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

Wife & I went on Monday 28th Jan and were not disappointed. Used a voucher deal and have to say we both left having enjoyed a lovely meal. Staff attentive but not annoying, good crowd in, nice atmosphere & portion sizes the norm. First visit to it and will not be the last. Recommend.

“Indian hospitality”
Reviewed January 31, 2013

I have eaten at this restaurant several times in recent months...and wanted to commend it on several fronts. The most obvious starting point is the quality of the food; it is just lovely. Secondly, the proprietor, Ashok, is always so welcoming and takes time and effort to ensure any and all enjoy his restaurant and the overall experience. The staff are helpful and all of this combines to make for an enjoyable eating experience. Finally, the ‘business Lunch’ offer is excellent value...as many of us who have availed of it can warmly attest {Gerry Skelton}.

“A Good Eating Experience!!”
Reviewed January 30, 2013

My wife and I ate here last night. We found the restaurant small and cosy. The service was excellent and when the owner found that my wife was vegetarian, he went out of his way to explain the menu and gave us the benefit of his knowledge of the ingredients.
The food is very tasty but not like Indian food in most restaurants in N Ireland. The owner explained that all the sauces are made from fresh ingredients and contain no additives. The wine list is reasonable and not overly expensive.
We really enjoyed our food and will definitely return.

“Excellent food in a friendly setting”
Reviewed January 29, 2013 via mobile

We had the executive lunch on a coupon on our first visit to Archana. When a restaurant anywhere, never mind down town Belfast, approaches its 30th year under the same management you have to expect high quality and we were not disappointed. Sadly there was no lamb but our chicken mains, our starters and vegetable sides were cooked perfectly. We also appreciated the friendliness of owner and staff. Definitely a place to return for Indian food!

“Fond memories”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

I used to eat in the Archana on a regular basis over twenty years ago but due to my relocating this came to a stop. Now back home I recently had dinner with my wife and ten year old son and found the passage of time had done the Archana no harm at all.
We had an excellent meal, poppadoms, starters, mains and nann bread. The house red was excellent to the extent that my wife asked for its name, intending to purchase some for the wine rack at home. The staff were very efficient and attentive and Aaron went out of his way to ensure that we had a very memorable meal.
The complimentary Sambucca at the end of the meal was a nice touch that seems to have been forgotten by many restaurants nowadays.
We will definately be back on a more regular basis from now on!
