Good and simple food on the cheap. The place was packed for lunch (or late breakfast) but we still managed to get our food in in a decent time. Potato bread was very tasty. They don't take credit cards so make sure you've got cash.

Have eaten here a few times recently and if you want good proper food that covers your plate, this is the place!! You get your tea in a proper cup not some poncy small excuse for one! Good wholesome food at sensible prices. It's always full and that speaks volumes!!!!!

Waited at least 40 minutes for some chips with bolognaise sauce, I mean how hard could that be to throw together? The wait made me regret leaving the house for food I could make myself in half the time and spend far less for. The waiting staff were far from attentive and were not practised in the art of smiling. Of course this place isn't going to provide gourmet cuisine but when I want cheap and cheerful food, I at least expect quick and friendly service, not a 40 minute wait surrounded by apathetic teens with no regard for customer service. On the plus side, the cafe itself had some charm to it.

Cute little diner, with excellent meals. The shakes are to die for and the service is great. Really good value for money.
