Had some time to kill while in town so calle din for a bit of lunch with my better half. Kooky but lavish interior, comfy seats and great food. Would of happily left a tip but they'd already added that to the bill!... I hate that

Always enjoy muriels for a post work pint, love their cheeseboard and wine deal up until midnight. Had a lovely cheeky lunch before work on Saturday and couldn't fault it. Very friendly and helpful staff always a great atmosphere. Much love for Muriel's.

Went in here on a Sat night. Place was pretty full but we still got some standing space. Decor wass great loved the underwear hanging across the ground floor. Upstairs has some lovely seating areas - lots of velvet and low lighting. Cocktails were great just ok a while to get served at the bar but that is to be expected at a cocktail bar. Music was commerical house so plenty of songs you would recognize. Really enjoyed this place

Great atmosphere on a weekend night and nice little outdoor area which they can open up during the hotter weeks (rare in Belfast, but it does happen). It's still a little gem to Belfast, but just not what it could be unfortunately.

Bring back the original staff, Muriel's used to be something very special to Belfast. Now it's just a nice little bar that I go to a few times a year. Staff are nice, but the originals were the best, the ones who would have went out of their way to make your drink there a great experience, plus the music choice used to be immense. It's now very meh.

Drinks aren't cheap though they do serve good quality alcohol. I tasted my first ever German beer here about 7 years ago. They accept card payment for £10 or more. No cashback given though, so I'd advise you to go to the nearest ATM. Men's toilet is poky and dark and the hand dryer is useless. Expect better quality toilets for the price of a spirit there.

Overall, as a tourist, I'd definitely recommend this quirky little bar - it has a unique charm. But as a local, there are plenty of choices now that just have a better edge to them.
