Owner description: Titanic's Dock and Pump-House is the world's only authentic Titanic landmark. It is the last place Titanic rested on dry ground, and is her physical footprint in history. Visitors can experience life in 1912 by descending 44 feet into the colossal dry dock and walk in the footsteps of the men who worked in the shipyard a century ago. Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. An inspiring and thought-provoking experience awaits you!

“Better than the museum exhibition”

Great place, very interesting to see the sheer scale of this. Nice video and walking tour. Expensive alongside the Titanic expo.

“Side trip to Titanic exhibition”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

Dry dock is huge. I did not realise it was so big - possibly a dumb blonde moment! You have to sign a disclaimer to go down to the dock. The steps are new and slip resistant metal. An interesting film is shown in the actual pump house. Cafe and clean toilets too.

“Massive Dock”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 8, 2013

You get more of an idea of the size of the Titanic by looking at the her dry dock. Massive. They did warn about the stairs and other safety aspects (you have to sign to say that you have read and understood them before you leave the shop to go on your tour) once you are down into the dock you wonder how something that size could even float !!

“Pictures do no justice”

Amazing to see, our photos don't do any justice to the actual size of the dock. Definitely worth seeing!

“Impressive dock and staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 5, 2013

Walking in the dock where the titanic is the best part of this visit. You really get an idea about the size of this ship. The rest of the museum is not really that great. The pump-house did not look nice and tidy.
The staff was fantastic. The helped me to get in contact with a tourguide that i could not reach. They even allowed me to use their phone. Great!
