Owner description: Titanic's Dock and Pump-House is the world's only authentic Titanic landmark. It is the last place Titanic rested on dry ground, and is her physical footprint in history. Visitors can experience life in 1912 by descending 44 feet into the colossal dry dock and walk in the footsteps of the men who worked in the shipyard a century ago. Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. An inspiring and thought-provoking experience awaits you!

“What an Amazing site!!!”
Reviewed July 31, 2013

I am a Titanic enthusiast and this was a real piece of history. The museum is good and very informative but the dockyard really hit home with me. The size of it alone puts the masterpiece into perspective. There were maybe 10 people there at the time which was a wonderful opportunity for photos. An unforgetable experience.

“Historic industrial building and mechanism”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is an essential part of the dry dock where the Titanic hull was built, and still houses the Victorian machinery which enabled the huge dock to be drained and re-flooded once the ship's hull was built.

“Titanic Dock and Pump House”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is worth a visit, to see the original machinery with its historical connection. It is adjacent to the new Titanic building, which may interest people for a short time, but is more akin to a theme park.

“Titanic pump house tour”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

Superb tour....fascinating. My teen kids loved it , despite their moaning.
Great DVD, pictures and hands on visit, passing deep into the dry dock.
Thought I knew most things about titanic but learnt a lot about the people building her and the pride involved, as well as lives lost.
Good for everyone, as long as fit enough to climb down.
