Owner description: Titanic's Dock and Pump-House is the world's only authentic Titanic landmark. It is the last place Titanic rested on dry ground, and is her physical footprint in history. Visitors can experience life in 1912 by descending 44 feet into the colossal dry dock and walk in the footsteps of the men who worked in the shipyard a century ago. Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. An inspiring and thought-provoking experience awaits you!

“titanic and pump house”
Reviewed March 12, 2013

i liked the way the story of how it all began and the set up all through the exhibit and being able to go into the dry dock to get a scale of how big titanic was, shame they did not have any recovered items from the sea bed to add to the history and experiance, also missed out the fitting out of the ship section .....

“Titanic pump house and dry dock.”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

Liked the dry dock, seeing the scale of the ship and imagining it there. The pump house was very ordinary, nothing special.

“busy busy”
Reviewed March 11, 2013

huge exhibition with well thought out story line from inceptual beginning to the tragic end. Good flow even though it was busy. Sunday Afternoon tea available by the mock up Titanic grand stairs at £25. Not usually accessible with a general admission ticket.
