Owner description: Titanic's Dock and Pump-House is the world's only authentic Titanic landmark. It is the last place Titanic rested on dry ground, and is her physical footprint in history. Visitors can experience life in 1912 by descending 44 feet into the colossal dry dock and walk in the footsteps of the men who worked in the shipyard a century ago. Experience the engineering behind the legendary pump-house, which still houses the original pumping engines, situated deep in the pump-well. The Pump-House also includes a visitor center and cafe, where you can relax and enjoy hot and cold snacks, refreshments, free wi-fi, or even pick up a souvenir or two from our Titanic gift shop. An inspiring and thought-provoking experience awaits you!

We like the interactive sections of the Museum and also the ability to eat in several different cafes and bars. You need to book in advance. You will probably not get the tour if you just turn up on the day

Went down to dry dock to get the impression of the sheer scale of the Titanic. Impressive. Was part of a walking tour

I only had an hour or so to do the museum and it really needs at least 2 hrs. It is simply wonderful. Very interactive, it makes you feel as though you are in the streets of Belfast during that era and the eery feeling of being on the ship as it goes down is quite emotional.

Easy to reach by public transport - you can even use the hop on hop off sightseeing bus. Fabulous building and interesting exhibits but it was not easy to navigate yourself around the displays - signage was not good. Allow at least two hours to see all the exhibits.
