Went to Cutters for lunch with my wife. Decided to eat at downstairs bar. 12:30 in afternoon and place was empty except for some workmen.
Took a seat hoping for service, but finally realised that you are are supposed to order at bar. Pretty much like Wetherspoons (although I would have thought Cutters was different class), you get your own cutlery, salt, sauces and pay before you get your food. This was not an issue, just a surprise.
Service was pleasant enough, food was edible - I've certainly had better (and cheaper) pub grub in supposedly 'lesser' establishments. As only ones there, no atmosphere.
In summary, OK, but don't think we'll be back.
