Description: Cutters Wharf is renowned for those lazy, hazy days that we all love, when we can chill out by the river regardless of the weather.Ideal for a BBQ party or cocktail style event outside, Cutters is the place to be for any event! From al fresco dining areas outside with TV screens to never miss a match to the cosines of the casual downstairs bar with its riverside views where you can always enjoy the latest sporting event on one of many screens or listen to one of our live bands in the evening. Whilst upstairs you have informal dining at its best, in literally the comfiest restaurant in the city. With wide open windows to enhance your dining experience, there is nowhere quite like this in Belfast. Bring your friends & family to celebrate a special occasion or butter up your colleagues with a workplace party. Cutters really does have something for everyone!

Went to Cutters for lunch with my wife. Decided to eat at downstairs bar. 12:30 in afternoon and place was empty except for some workmen.

Took a seat hoping for service, but finally realised that you are are supposed to order at bar. Pretty much like Wetherspoons (although I would have thought Cutters was different class), you get your own cutlery, salt, sauces and pay before you get your food. This was not an issue, just a surprise.

Service was pleasant enough, food was edible - I've certainly had better (and cheaper) pub grub in supposedly 'lesser' establishments. As only ones there, no atmosphere.

In summary, OK, but don't think we'll be back.

This was a very good place to eat with friends. The atmosphere was brilliant and the food was exquisite. I would definitely go back there again.

Nice site. Watch the rowers thrash the water after a good walk round the scenic lagan meadows.
Ordered beef sandwich and cutters burger all with salad. Watered down broth a slice of beef in stale bread and a quarter pounder on a lettuce leaf. I kid you not. Dont buy the food. They have no pride at all in what they chuck out.

Had lunch in Cutters Wharf with some friends today. Hadn't been there for years. Made the mistake of looking into the bar before going upstairs....the guy on the door said "Bit Noisy Today". This was an understatement...Friday late lunchtime and every girl in Belfast had taken the afternoon off and was here. It sounded exactly like I imagine a battery hen house to sound.
Fortunately, we were booked in the restaurant upstairs. A scene of quiet tranquillity with a pleasant view over the Lagan. The menu was quite extensive and we all enjoyed our starters and main courses which were served promptly and efficiently, by pleasant courteous staff.
At this point the wheels seemed to fall off the wagon somewhat as service then became very slow, an experience I noticed, being experienced by others in the restaurant. Maybe it was staff lunchtime or perhaps they were preparing for the wedding party who arrived just as we were leaving. In any event it was a disappointing end to an otherwise very pleasant experience.
