Owner description: Belfast black taxi tours: new game of thrones seasons /causeway full day tours. As the official belfast attractions we have been offering our award winning tours for over 15 years. Even though our beautiful city is now almost unrecognisable from the bomb ravaged city of over 35 years ago, we feel it is important to help everyone understand what life in belfast was like during the dark years of ‘the troubles.’ By taking you on a tour of the now world famous hotspots, such as the republican(ira) murals of the falls road and the protestant(u.f.f &u.v.f) murals of the shankill road and by the use of important evidence such as newspapers, photos, videos and even plastic bullets we hope to paint a vivid picture of what life was like for the everyday belfast resident. You will travel in style through the back streets of our city in an old vintage london black taxi cab as our guides, who all lived through the troubles, help you understand over 800 years of british / irish political history
Useful Information: Wheelchair access

Before the tour, Tom McNally, our guide, told us that he would try to give us a lesson of 800 years of Irish history in 90 minutes -- and he succeeded! The tour was very informative and impressive; we had time for photos and Tom was open to all our questions. We reocommend this tour to everyone on a visit to Belfast -- don't miss it!

We did not want to the usual "hop on hop off" bus tour and had heard about this black taxi tour. It was excellent and the driver Bobby was very informative and passionate about the troubles and very proud of Belfast today. He took us to the most relevant places and more. We came away with a greater understanding of the political unrest which can be seen from the murals and the British flags flying in many parts of the city. Highly recommend and thanks Bobby for your great tour.

Our guide and taxi driver Brian took us on an excellent tour and gave us a very clear understanding of the basis of the conflicts of the 60s to the present day. Brian brought a wealth of knowledge with him; drove us to the pertinent areas and gave us time for photographs etc. A brilliant tour and educational. Thanks for your efforts Brian.

Gerry was great. So much knowledge & passion about the political history of Northern Ireland. I left the tour with information I would never have got elsewhere. £30 for the cab for 2 of us & lasted nearly 2 hrs. Highly recommend.

I joined this one-day tour last year and this year. I think the trip was better in last year. Not only because they forgot to send me a car in the morning and the car wasn't a black cab, but also they cut the Belfast city trip and increased the price. Last year I can choose my trip route, but this year looks that everything is settled. One more important notice, if you want the black cab tour, you'd better tell them the car you want when you book the tour. All in all, drivers are very nice and friendly, views are great. It is a good private tour, but i feel a little bit disappointed.
