A brilliant budget hotel!

No frills, no fuss. It's possible to stay here for under 40 quid and for that you get great value for money. The hotel was built in the last five years so everything is new and neat. The rooms are compact as you'd expect but pleasant and modern. Great selection of TV channels and impressive 24 hour a day room service menue.

Be warned...the bathroom is small...and falls somewhere in between a ferry's wc. facility and a spaceships shower room, but the shower itself was spacious and had great pressume and temperature range.

I've stayed here many times and have had virtually no bad experiences.

The location is excellent, with the hotel truly in the heart of Belfast city. Parking is extra but is charged at a reasonable rate of around a fiver per day and night. Everything is within walking distance of the Ibis so you'll save on taxis.

By no means a "destination hotel", I don't think anyone should (or would) travel here for the sole purpose of staying in teh Ibis. However if you are in Belfast city, for business or pleasure, this place really does offer a lot.

We have just come back from a great stay at the ibis.Great location for all the sights and close to town centre. Also bus station only 10 min walk to get number 300 bus to and from international airport. Already booked flight to go back in march and will definitely be booking the ibis again. The staff were great and so helpful on showing us on maps all the places we wanted to go to.Will see you all in march, keep up the good work.

Room Tip: We had a room on top floor which i found a bit quieter being a light sleeper

This Hotel was clean, affordable and right in the center of the city within easy reach to town hall and shopping areas. There was also a large breakfast put on for an extra charge. Our stay was extremely comfortable in the basic rooms but we were only there for one night so didn't need anything else. Also the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The room was clean and large, and the bed was among the most comfortable in Britian. The hotel is also located in a fantastic part of the city, which allows you to walk everywhere including to town hall, the opera house and a fish restaurant, considered one of the best spots in the city. But, above all, the staff was fantastic. Claire was kind and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed -- including directions. If I return to Belfast I will absolutely stay here again!

Room Tip: We took the cheapest room and it was perfectly fine -- large and quiet.

I've stayed in the ibis hotel before last April and this April so this being my third visit to the hotel. With us going to Scotland the next day it was easier to stay in Belfast check-in was really easy and the reception desk was manned at all times although when i was checking in i did state that i wanted a room to the front of the hotel as when i had stayed in April we were at the back of the hotel which faces a block of flats and they can be very noisey at night time and was told by the receptionist that she had put us to the front this time but when got to our room it was at the back of the hotel and when i went straight back down to the front desk she said that she would have to speak to the general manager when we came back after being at the monster mash over at the Odyssey and then went into town when we arrived back at the hotel it was a change of staff and when i asked to be moved it was done straight away and i phoned down later to ask how much the continental breakfast was and was told it was 3.50 and when we went down at 5am the next morning the receptionist charged us 4.55 even though the screen behind him was saying 3.50 so that's false advertising

Stayed here for 2 nights for valentines day. We had a fab stay at this hotel. The staff are OK, there was one in particular who went out his way to be very helpful and he was very friendly. The room was fine, and had everything we required. Tea/Coffee etc. We had a great view of the city. The bathroom was very nice. The shower was in a large unit which was very modern and the shower was fab which is an all important factor! Breakfast was lovely and well set out. It had everything you could possibly want to eat for breakfast. All in all a very nice hotel and I certainly would stay here again.

Cant fault the Ibis in Castle Street. Quick check in, friendly staff, spotlessly clean, centrally located and a great breakfast. Would stay there again
