“Excellent Quality Food”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 10, 2013

Food was outstanding. Locally sourced organic food of the highest quality. Restaurant has no airs or graces and was excellent value for the standard of food. I was in a group of seven people for a graduation dinner and each one of us loved the food.

The staff were excellent and very patient with us. They looked after us extremely well. This restaurant is a little diamond down a city centre side street and a refreshing, quirky delight. Will definitely be back soon!

“amazing food in a quirky friendly environment”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 8, 2013

the hotel concierge reccommended this restaurant.
it is a most quirky and interesting looking place. we sat on 2 different type chairs and the decor was a confusion of colour and styles, but somehow it worked well!
i had parfait and my wife fishcakes to start. a fabulous welcome to the food here. mains were even better of a chickpea curry and fish &chips. they were perfect. we also had a nz sauv blanc and the total bill was only £59.00. fabulous value. service was so friendly in a genuinely sincere way.
this is an interesting and intiguing spot with spectacular food, the best we had in belfast over 3 nights.

“Just okay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2013

One dessert, Bailey's coffee, and a tea for 14 pounds felt more expensive than it was because the room was very noisy and the service was quite cold. However credit must be given to the effort with the decorations.

“Just loved the food , beautiful on both night of our visit.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

A lovely surprise , the decor is very quirky and I could not stop looking around and admiring it. I had a chickpea and Aubergine curry which was very tasty , followed by a pannacota dessert served in a jam-jar which I just loved. We went in again last night and were again delighted by the quality of the food and the great atmosphere

“Perfect venue for a work supper”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 30, 2013

I hadn't been to MIB for quite some time but was really glad that work colleagues arranged to go here last Wednesday evening. My food was pretty faultless - a lamb tagine followed by cheesecake, and everyone else really enjoyed theirs too. The staff were attentive and did everything to accommodate one of our table's particular requests, including making up a sauce that wasn't on the menu. The atmosphere as always was fab (never mind the amazing decor which always commands attention), it was almost full which was a good sign for 6.30pm mid-week.
