Excellent seafood at very reasonable prices. Good service. Only missed out on an excellent rating due to delay in opening caused by NI electricity board! Would definitely return and recommend.

The restaurant was very unpretentious which was appealing. Around lunch time they had all the fresh seafood displayed on ice in the front window. We went based on the recommendation of our B&B Hosts (Old Rectory) and were very happy with our meal. Everything tasted fresh and really highlighted the quality of the product. We were so happy with our meal that we also went to the Mourne Seafood Bar that just opened in Dublin.

One of my favourite spots in Belfast, and once again it didn't let us down. Top-notch food that won't break the bank. I particularly recommend the mussels and the salt and chilli squid (both of which can be ordered as either starters or mains), but just about anything that you order- from the whole fish to the linguini- will be great. Service is always attentive without being overbearing.

If I could make just one suggestion to Mourne, it would be to beg them to bring back their big and varied sharing starting platter.

A friend had recommended the Mourne Seafood Bar and we phoned earlier in the day to make a reservation. Due to our lack of planning and phoning the same day we had to wait to 9.15 for a table on a Friday night but the wait was well worth it. We had lobster and cod and both thoroughly enjoyed our main courses. The brownie and crumble also excellent. Staff are friendly and attentive to just the right level. The surroundings are relaxed with the restaurant offering a good selection overall with non fish options available.

Mourne's Seafood serves some absolutely delicious dishes. I would particularly recommend the Oysters Rockefeller and the Seabass from the current specials menu. Wash it all down with some of their own Oyster Stout, fantastic!

So good I went twice on a 4 day stay in Belfast.
