Had a wonderful stay here. Martina and Dill were wonderful hosts. Very comfortable and homey base to visit Northern Ireland. Would visit again.
I visited Greystone Cottage for a 4 night stay from England to visit my dad on his 90th birthday as he lives just down the road.
Martina was the perfect host, she and her family are charming and friendly.
Martina is a superlative communicator, any query or request I had was dealt with promptly and professionally. She greeted us with warm scones, butter and jam along with tea coffee and milk but thereafter there was never any feeling of being overlooked, we were very much free to come and go as we pleased.
The cottage itself is definitely a bit of Ulster's history, its thick stone walls house a warm and lovingly restored property that is bright and airy. There were five adults in our group and the cottage easily accommodated us.
Greystone is in a rural setting but its a short trip into town to see the culture and wonderful restaurants which are in abundance.
I couldn't recommend Greystone enough and I am sure that I will be back again in the future to stay there and enjoy a yarn with Martina and her wonderful family.
Warm cozy cottage situated in the outskirts of Belfast in a lovely rural setting
Easy access to the city with a vehicle
Lovely personal touch provided by the owners and heaps of information provided as well
My friends and I rented Martina's cottage for 2 nights in July and found it to be the so beautiful and peaceful. Martina was friendly and welcoming, she had scones and jam for us when we arrived and offered us advice on what to see and do in Belfast. The cottage itself was just beautiful, so clean and comfortable. I slept like a baby! I would recommend this cottage to anyone.
We had a great stay at Greystone cottage. The cottage is in a quiet location but near Belfast city centre and was ideal for our family. Martina was a fantastic host and I would recommend her place to anyone looking to visit Belfast.
We stayed in Greystone cottage for 7 nights with our 3 children. Our eldest son is disabled so the downstairs bedroom and wet room was ideal to suit his mobility needs. The customer service we received from our host Martina were superb. A very helpful person who showed genuine empathy towards our family situation. Martina couldn't do enough for us. Fresh scones and breakfast cereals along with the every day essentials were in there for our arrival which was a nice touch from Martina.
The cottage is in a great location. Near Belfast and Helen's Bay beach . The area is so quiet and quaint. In fact the whole family slept soundly every night. The beds were so comfortable and the upstairs bathroom and bedrooms were decorated to a high standard.
The outside courtyard was a plus for the children and private to sit in when the sun was shining. The accommodation has everything a family would need. We will stay there again when we are over seeing family.
Martina is always at hand to answer any questions and queries. She has a wealth of knowledge about places to eat and visit in the area. Five star in all areas. You would not be dis appointed staying in this beautiful cottage.
