stayed one nite on a bank holiday found out the roads leading up to the hotel entrance via wind st had been blocked off for the party goers in the evening so after going around in circles finnaly had to reverese up a one way st the wrong way
they are still trying to put in air conditioning so in the middle of the nite had to open windows because it got so hot but then we had all the noise from the people outside up till about 2 in the morning
pluss had a lot of noise from the drunks coming back to the hotel, and running and screaming up and down the corrider,s for the next hour or so
did not get to sleep until about 4 in the morning
and was told it is like that every weekend rite throughout the year
but everything was available in the room and clean and comphy beds
and there are plenty of restaraunts very close to choose from and very central for all the atractions of swansea

Room Tip: try and get one to the back of the hotel more quiter entance is a bit akward to find as in a one w...

Hotel is in a very convenient position. The noise we encountered was not from any of the clubs nearby, but from some very noisy fellow guests.
The room was very comfortable, bed great in both size and comfort and the staff very friendly.
After settling down, just about to drop off to sleep when very loud voices were heard outside our door. This was followed by banging of doors and more shouting, a girl then joined in with shouting and very loud laughing.
We rang reception and asked if security could ask them to keep the noise down. This seemed to do the trick....or so we thought. An hour later the same happened again. This was on a Thursday night.
As we got up at 7am a letter was being put under the door, apologising for the noise. at check out we showed the letter to reception, who got a duty manager to speak to us.
Hewas very apologetic and explained that the cost of the room would be credited back to us within 5 working days. This was the "Good night sleep guarantee" it would seem.
So to be fair to the Premier Inn this noise was not their fault.

Room Tip: Away from the lift/stairs

We stayed in this hotel for a few nights 13 -15 April. Centrally located - Close to shops, lovely restaurants. The only thing is that if staying on a sat night, as its so central, there is some noise from the nearby bars, but we were aware of this so did not mind.
Rooms are very clean and very comfortable. Also there is parking nearby.
Also if there is anything that you need, the staff will try to assist immediately.
We also went for the breakfast option - great variety and lovely food.
Would definitely go there again.

Room Tip: As it is central, people book it for friends weekends away so will be busy on Fri/Sat nights - may b...

The staff could not do more but this is right next to at least two night clubs. If you can get to bed before 10 you stand a chance of sleeping. If not you will be awake on Friday, Saturday and Sunday until 3 am or later.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. £16 ish for all four of us which was a bargain.

Parking was in the nearby NCP carpark at £5 per night.

Stayed at swansea premier inn last night, Our 3rd time in a premier inn this year. It was a short break for someone who is recovering from an illness. When we walked down the corridor to our room on the 3rd floor (room 321) we could clearly see work men going from room to room. Great room as expected but cold. So i tried several different settings on the heating dial but no joy so time was going on now and we wanted to get ready to go out. Phoned reception and very quickly sent someone up to look at it. He informed me that work was being done and the heating was being updated and offered me a heater or a change of room. I choose the heater as we were all ready running late by now. We booked the morning of arrival so WHY were we not told that there was no heating before excepting our booking? Also when we then went into the bathroom there was a sewage smell. No time to make a fuss. I wish i had as we arrived back at 11pm to a warm, very smelly room. Informed reception in the morning, I suspect this was also down to the work being done. Come on managment, i can understand you want to keep trading but this did put a dampener on our break. However love premier inn as a rule and room, staff, breakfast very good. Location excellent and £5 to park right next door. Just be aware readers of work being done at present when booking.

Travelling to hospital for husbands daily treatment during January's bad weather was no joke, so we decided to find a reasonably priced hotel. Premier Inn fitted perfectly. Rooms were nice size and clean. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We opted for the meal deal (it was £27.50 I think and that was for full buffet breakfast which was very good and plenty of choice and the evening meal. There were three courses and a drink. Excellent choice for dinner but obviously special extras like steak had a supplement. Being virtually 5 minutes walk from city centre and shops this is a good central location. Lots of lovely restaurants about for the following evenings. All in all we would recommend this chain of hotels. No frills but everything you need for a nice comfy night's sleep.

My partner and I stayed here for one night and I wasn't expecting a great experience as it is a budget hotel and it isn't located in the nicest area of Swansea but the price was reasonable. I have to say I was really pleasantly surprised with our stay.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean and was better equipped than I was expecting. The bed was comfortable and you couldn't hear noise from outside (even though there are a few bars and clubs nearby). The only noise from other guests in the hotel but it wasn't so bad that I couldn't sleep (and the noise was certainly no worse than other non-budget hotels we've stayed in).

The 24 hours parking for £5 at the NCP next door to the hotel is very reasonable and saved us a lot of hassle trying to find somewhere cheap/safe to park the car.

If we visit Swansea in the future, we would definitely stay here again.
