We were needing to visit Swansea and were lucky enough to alight on The Mirador Boutique Townhouse. Philip and Jeanette are welcoming and caring hosts. The breakfasts are delicious and the rooms are incredible. Each room has a different theme. We were allocated the Oriental Room and having just returned from Japan this brought back happy memories of our trip. Every details of the room and sitting room had been carefully sourced to retain the Oriental theme. The Uplands area of the City is perfect, too, as it has many excellent bars and restaurants. Altogether a very enjoyable stay. We will definitely go back.

Room tip: The Mirador has a couple of rooms on the ground floor for those who find this helpful.

We had a really great time staying here for 3 nights. We had the Mediterranean room which apparently is their sunniest which was handy as it was quite cloudy out during much of our visit. Our hosts were charming and breakfast was made to order and tasty.
The building next door is populated with university students who chattered noisily and profanely outside our room for 2 hours on the warm Friday night while pouring back much alcohol..
I would go back. Good value and warm hosts.

Loved this place, pretty French room with outdoor terrace and French doors could be left open to the wonderful trees and birds! Left open at night for the cool air. It is clean, up one flight of stairs, pretty, bath with shower only which I like. Tv, never turned on, convenient to busses. And the owners were lovely, did help with sightseeing plans . Wished we could have stayed longer! A short three minute walk to restaurants,,,do not miss the Brew Stone,,the best pulled pork dinner I ever had. Bus stop around corner to bus station and onward to Gower. A great place, fantastic breakfast and charming guests!

Room tip: French room on second floor with outdoor terrace! . A bit small but that is how it is. Quiet but birds are all about in day,,,I liked that!

My wife and I have just spent a fantastic weeks holiday staying at the Mirador. Philip and Jeanette are the most wonderful hosts they are there to make your stay as comfortable as they can nothing is to much trouble. The rooms are very clean and tidy and maintained to a high standard. the breakfast menu was excellent and an idea that other B&B establishments could consider taking up. Its nice that Phil and Jeanette take the trouble to take the trouble to talk to you about your day and what you are planning to do. So if you have taken the trouble to read this review just make a reservation you can be assured you will not be disappointed for its location, friendliness and value for money. 5 stars all the way.

Room tip: room 7 on a fine sunny day you can sit outside on the seated area.

Our stay at the Mirador was absolutely wonderful. Phil was there to greet us upon arrival and showed us everything in the room, and even recommended some nice local places for food and drinks.

We were in the Roman room, which has to be seen to be believed! It's really nice to stay somewhere with a bit of character and not the usual dreary hotels for work.

Huge bonus points for the 'all-you-can-order' breakfast menu and the well-stocked DVD library for guests use.

If you're looking for somewhere welcoming and gorgeous to stay in Swansea, I couldn't recommend the Mirador highly enough. We'll be back for sure!
