Book in advance to get the best rate as we had three rooms for the price of what they were charging for one in the night. Clean room with essentials required for a one night stay. Taxi cost about £6 in to town and reception will arrange this for you. Reception staff friendly and helpful upon check in. Free onsite parking which is good. Would use again for a one night stay!

Booked this for a 1 night stopover in Swansea. Price was £10 more than Travelodge, but it offered free parking (at the city centre Travelodge you have to use the NCP) and said it had WiFi. Turned up and found out that the free WiFi was only in use bar downstairs and not the room. Also they boast about their new wonderful amazingly comfortable beds, trust me it was far from comfortable. The new beds at Travelodge are much much better. Also I got a room on the side of the dual carriageway, and the noise was awful. That could have done something to muffle the sound, like use good double glazing....

Room Tip: If you have to stay here, ask for a room over the car park as the road noise could keep you awake at...

I am sorry that on this occasion that you were disappointed with your stay. All our beds are the new Ibis sweet bed and most of our guests love them but as always it is a matter of what type of bed you favour and I'm sorry that they di not suit your needs. Thank you for your comments all feedback helps us to improve. Kind regards, Nicola Moir

We booked a room online (inadvertently) for the Friday night and turned up (as planned) on the Saturday. We unfortunately lost our money paid for the previous night but they happily found space for us at short notice on the Saturday. Reception was welcoming, if a little slow.

The room was great for the price. Very clean, tiday and had everything you needed for an overnight stay. The bed was very comfortable (they now have "toppers" on the matresses) and therefore we had a very good night's sleep.

Late check out was also very useful.

We will return.

Stayed for Saturday night the 25th January it was the first time I have stayed in an Ibis. It's a budget hotel I paid £35 (excluding breakfast) for the night which was quite a lot cheaper than the premier inn. Rooms are fine, they have all the basics covered, hair dryer, tv, tea and coffee. It's a bit out from the town centre but it was only £5 in a taxi and reception will book you a taxi. Friendly reception staff and the hotel is clean. Breakfast was help yourself and there was a good selection but I didn't think it was quite worth £7.95. If your having a night out with friends like we were then this hotel is good value for money.

Room Tip: It's quieter at the front of the hotel as it overlooks the car park and car dealerships rather t...
