Where have all the traders gone? Although we went to buy meat and vedgetables for Sunday lunch we had a look around. We were didapointed that this market used to be much more popular - maybe Primark and Matalan are to blame.

i have often been to clydach market and all though it is not the best in south wales it certainly deserves a chance, although i go there for the bootsale and sometimes you can grab a bargain there is no need for all these traders, you go there every week and nothing changes they need to have a day just for booters the first section is just full of traders selling rubbish week after week that nobody ever buys, and because of this on a wet day real booters have to be sent away because there is no room for them because of these traders, and then they have a cheek to charge you an entrance fee to look at the same stuff every week, i wouldn't mind paying if there was something different to look at wthat's why i mainly go to singleton bootsale where there are no traders and no entrance fee, and guaranteed every week is different, they have now started a friday bootsale and i don't know if anyone has been but if you have you will notice there may not be as much there but it certainley has a better feel, because there are no traders there, (for now).
as for the sunday market i have no interest in pound shop stuff being sold for a lot more expensive and cheap makes being sold for high street prices.
if you are looking for a real bargain and a different experience week after week don't bother going to clydach go somewhere else like singleton which is the best bootsale in south wales. if they want to attract mor people to this dying market/bootsale they need to let more booters in and stop reserving spots for the traders.
