“Just wonderful”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

We have spent a week travelling around the Gower Peninsula and have thoroughly enjoyed the coastal beaches with wide, sweeping panoramic views and lots of space. The views and coastal walks have been great. Local people have been really friendly, chatty and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

“My Favourite Place”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

It's like Cornwall but without the crowds. the Peninsula has a vast array of things to offer. Hugely diverse scenery from beaches, to commons, to hidden wooded valley walks. It has several excellent pubs, lots of coffe shops and some really fantastic beaches - personal favourite being Pobbles and Three Cliffs. It's great for families, walkers or those just wanting goth get away form the rat race for a week or so! Swansea is close at hand if its wet or you need City facilities.

“A-making”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

The whole gower peninsula is a stunning area. Full of beaches that are a joy to see and spend the day at. Plenty of little shops in various area. You could easily spend a month there and enjoy it. Plenty of camp sites and authentic restaurants. Suppose you can also go not swansea city centre if its raining.

“Beautiful”

Oxwich bay is beautiful and very safe for children. Rhosilli bay is also a beautiful beach but be aware of very narrow roads. Not great for towing a jetski!!
