Description: 'South of the border' passion is always served up at Chiquito. A menu of bold Mexican and Tex-Mex cuisine is prepared however the diner likes it. Burritos, sizzling fajitas and tacos can all be customised for vegetarians or those wanting more spice. A kids menu, games and entertainment add to the family-friendly vibe, and there is a great range of exciting cocktails, mocktails, wines and tequilas.

Dined here as a family treat - you can get regular offers online with discount vouchers for things like 'Kids Eat Free' etc.

Food and service were excellent, and, although the waiting time was very reasonable, the kids are given crayons and a 'fun pack' to keep them occupied.

Recommended for families.

I love mexican food and this establishment is spice in a building! The variety on their menu is amaxing, the service is very good and the added bonus of the venue being near the cinema/wind street and taxi rank its Ideally situated!

I have had the burrito twice and must say have come out on both occasions asking when we are going back again!

Amazing food and lots of tastes going on! ill be back!

Visited this restaurant New Year's Eve had booked the table for 10:30 to stay and see in the new year. This was the first time since we'd had children we had been out for new year rather than a house party. Our daughters are 16 and 13. The waiter was very helpful and friendly and accommodated us brilliantly. We didn't feel rushed and enjoyed doing the auld lang syne with staff as we were the only booking in the restaurant at midnight! Thanks to the staff for a fantastic night, great service and the only negative I could hint at is the food could be hotter but then I like mine nuclear!!!!

Very lengthy wait for service, and an even longer one for the drinks. Worse still, nothing was worth the wait. The margaritas were totally ice-free and room temperature by the time we got them, and apparently the barman is terrified of allowing any alcohol to trouble the glass.

The staff had an attitude of bored indifference.

The food was cold by the time it arrived, not prepared well at all, and almost tasteless. Not much else to say about it, apart from that it was a miserable experience. Very poor value for money, because it was not exactly cheap. £10 for a couple of warm, booze-free margaritas which are supposed to have plenty of alcohol is a total rip-off.

I went to Chiquitos with friends on a Wednesday evening, we were offered a special menu where you can have two courses for £9.99 after 5pm and its an extra £2 if you want to add another course. There is a huge selection on this menu. We were seated straight away and the service was quick but not rushed despite it being busy. We were given free nachos and salsa whilst we waited. The waiter was friendly and the atmosphere is suitably Mexican. When the food arrived it was well cooked and delicious. I had a fantastic time and would definitely go again.
