Passed this when on a bike ride along the promenade from Swansea to Mumbles which is a great ride of about 4 miles on flat ground, note: not for racers as there's pedestrians sharing although there is a cycle path.
The lido seemed to have loads of screaming lids in the paddling pool and various swings and things to entertain them and the beach is 5 yards away,a cafe, toilets and a pub across the road. What more could you need, but looked really good for young kids and families.

When the weather is nice the lido is a brilliant place to go. There is a great water area and park. If you take sandwiches for lunch then the only thing you pay for is parking. If you don't then there is the Junction which serves food and drink. The lido is lacking in shaded areas but that doesn't really matter. I would recommend the lido for a sunny day.

The lido has a lovely splash/paddling pool with fountains and things. It's cold and is about a foot deep at the deepest point. There is a sort of rubber 'beach' at the side of it which is soft and comfy to sit down on.

There is a nice playground right next to the splash pool and a nice cafe adjacent too. It's right on the promenade so you can cycle right to it and there is cycle parking there.

The facility would benefit from toilets and changing facilities. We weren't sure if we were supposed to use the cafe facilities or otherwise.

If you don't mind crowds this is a great place for small children. It is packed during the summer months but everybody seems to enjoy it. There is a good restaurant very near the Lido and the Woodman pub/restaurant is just the other side of the Mumbles Road.

Really safe paddling pool with lots of activities around the paddling pool. Lots of grass for parents to sit and watch. Good coffee shop on hand at the Junction.
