Came back last week from a 7 day stay at Pitton Cross. Stayed here years ago as a kid with my family and decided to come back years later with my girlfriend. It's safe to say I wasn't disappointed. All the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The shop was well stocked with everything we needed and at reasonable prices. The toilet/ shower blocks were always very clean even at the busier times and always had hot water as was the dish washing area. The site was very quiet as well even when it was busier at the weekend. The location is perfect since there is so much beautiful coastline within walking distance which was important to us since neither of us drive and we prefered to walk as opposed to getting a bus everywhere although this was very convenient too since the bus stop is literally across the road. We found the walk to Mewslade and Rhossili very manageable even with a heavy backpack and the walk alone was breathtaking enough. We had perfect weather all week except the final day when we were leaving and as I was relying on a family member to pick us up I was dreading having to stand in the pouring rain with all our stuff since they weren't going to make it in time for the 11am check out however they were extremely kind and let us keep our tent up while we waited our lift.
All in all a brilliant campsite in a beautiful area.
Kieran and Alecia :)
