“Quick lunch”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 26, 2012 via mobile

Had an early lunch here. On the positive side good service by waiter however food overpriced imo. I had a sandwich which the menu promised fresh white bread, this was stretching it. It was like any Chorlewood process bread you can buy in any corner shop. If I'd purchased this sandwich in a corner shop it would have cost £1.29. Inexplicably, on the plate with the sandwich and some not very crunchy crisps was a tiny pot of coleslaw which again was not very good quality.
I was really disappointed. The cafe is so nicely designed. However they were playing music by Texas when I sat down and by the time I left the Carpenters were piped through the sound system. Interesting choice.
Coffee very run of the mill too. Espresso bland.
Could be so much better if more attention paid to the quality of the ingredients.

“want a nice cosy lunch in swansea?”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2012

very intimate interior and a well thought out and well priced menu.
Food was excellent although the carrot and coriander soup was slightly watery.
the mini welsh cakes served with tea and coffee are delicious.
site of the cafe is in the swansea marina so you've always got a nice fresh walk to have afterwards to work off the calories.
service is always terrific and friendly

“Excellent atmosphere, food and service”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2012

We went in with no booking and limited time, and the staff were very helpful.

The service was prompt, and my wife and I had mackerel pate to start. This was delicious. My wife had the Coq au Vin and I had the Coquille St Jaques. Both of which were of excellent standard.

We shall definitely go again!

“Love the early bird”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2012

After trying to book into a few other places in Swansea which were fully booked or people couldn't be bothered to get back to us we booked in to Cafe TwoCann. We were very glad we did! The food, service and overall experience were excellent.

The early bird menu was such good value and the food was fantastic. Also when asked the staff kindly found out if the sauce was gluten free for me. We will definitely be returning!

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. The early bird menu is very popular and we have tried to balance the price along with the portion size In these tough times it is so important to give value for money and it is nice to see that in most cases we are getting it right!
