Had an early lunch here. On the positive side good service by waiter however food overpriced imo. I had a sandwich which the menu promised fresh white bread, this was stretching it. It was like any Chorlewood process bread you can buy in any corner shop. If I'd purchased this sandwich in a corner shop it would have cost £1.29. Inexplicably, on the plate with the sandwich and some not very crunchy crisps was a tiny pot of coleslaw which again was not very good quality.
I was really disappointed. The cafe is so nicely designed. However they were playing music by Texas when I sat down and by the time I left the Carpenters were piped through the sound system. Interesting choice.
Coffee very run of the mill too. Espresso bland.
Could be so much better if more attention paid to the quality of the ingredients.
