“beautiful place to stay”
Reviewed August 15, 2011

Just got back from staying at Cwm Ivy. It was a really good place for a holiday and I totally recommend it. There is a heated swimming pool, and a beautiful beach not far away. The accommodation was really comfortable and Christine and Tony made us feel really welcome.

Stayed in the 'Lovespoons' cottage at Cwm Ivy Farm, one of Christines cottages. Lovely comfortable stone cottage, beamed ceilings, wisteria overhanging door. Perfect for a couple. The purpose of our stay was our honeymoon. Christine made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The local villagers are very friendly and helpful. There is a local shop selling local free range eggs and home made jams and chutneys etc.

The gardens of the farm are for use of cottage guests and are wonderful, with lots of private seating areas and even a swimming pool. The gardens have won awards. Perfect for twitchers as there is a viewing platform into the trees where it slopes very steeply. Very friendly cat called Glyne.

Cottage is 5/10 mins walk to the beach along a national trust footpath. Cottage is fantastic location for exploring the gower area and beauty spots. Local village pub in walking distance too. We had a lovely time and couldn't have wanted for more really.
