“A Tragedy”
Reviewed January 26, 2014 via mobile

It's crying shame that Vincent's has closed. Expertly cooked fresh produce and a warm friendly atmosphere at very affordable prices.
Thank you for your years of good service... and good luck to everyone for the future

“Good venue for Xmas party”
Reviewed December 15, 2013

We enjoyed it here-we had the place to ourselves in the afternoon-we were about 20 people and a noisy group therefore being the only ones there probably suited us more.
Food was great and reasonable given we had three courses at £20.
Starter was the weakest of the courses tasty but little of it-I had steak for main course it was very good and those with different options all said the food was good. Sweet was exceptional all choices went down well.
Thanks to the staff for good service would have no problem coming here again.

“Great Restaurant”
Reviewed December 11, 2013

We have been to Vincents several times for dinner. The food has always been good and service equally good.
It deserves to be higher up the list of ratings for Swansea restaurants. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. The food is always good and they always have a desert I cannot resist. Good value for money for a night out.

“Luncheon with good company and good food.”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Popped in for lunch today. Never been before and i had heard mixed reviews but I must say the poor reviews were completely ill founded. The waitress was attentive without being intrusive and helpful without being patronising. The food all ordered from the luncheon menu was excellent and reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend this venue to my friends and family and I look forward to my next visit...

“GREAT FOOD - IF ONLY THERE WAS ENOUGH OF IT!”
Reviewed November 20, 2013

Ok, bit of a mixed review.... went for lunch... £10.50 for two courses. Normal sort of price for the area. As with many places you could pay extra for Veg (£3.00) and potatoes (£2.00) sort of lucky we did. Starters was fine, salmon, cray fish and prawns with salad served up on a board. For main I chose the lamb in a redcurrant sauce. I wanted to laugh when it came up, there were six pieces of lamb in the middle of the plate, each about 1" long by 1/4", they looked lost in what was an abundance of truly wonderful sauce. There was nothing else on the plate. Usually you get some small accompanying potato or veg but absolutely nothing but this tiny bits of meat which didn't amount to a mouthful. Luckily had ordered the Veg and Potatoes but even with those you came away hungry. Disappointed as the food and the sauce was fine, but really the portions of meat were too ridiculous for words, my fellow diners had similar experiences with their meat. One had the sea bass and we were all sorry we didn't go for that as that was a normal size. Not sure if they were running out of food - dont think so as there were only two tables booked - but they should really revisit the amount they serve if they want returning customers.
