I come here regularly, at least twice a month. The food is incredible although be it a little pricey. The noodles are amazing and the selection of Maki is to die for.

However, the service is another story. Consistently bad and the staff display no small talk with customers. I'm pretty sure that this is a basic customer service skill in which they really need to learn!

They also have on occasion (more than a couple!) gotten our orders incorrect and caused us great frustration having to wait a long time for it to be rectified.

All in all, if u want good food, it's worth it but be prepared for poor customer service!

Thank JFK2000

Been here a couple of times now, the last time I had the fried noodles and my friend had the ramen. Fried noodles were ok but lacking in flavour, I had to ask for some soy and chili sauce to add some flavour. The ramen was just dire with a frankly bland to unpleasant stock. The gyoza are nice and the salads have a lovely dressing.

Pub grub on the Gower is pretty basic, so we came here hoping for something better. We were not disappointed. The tuna sashimi was tasty and the vegetable tempura perfectly cooked. My wife's ramen noodles with vegetables, chicken and chilli was a generous serving with a perfect balance of flavours: too much for her, so it was a great hardship to help her out! My yakitori, skewers of grilled marinated chicken, were quite as good as those I have eaten in Kyoto. A dish of stir-fried mixed vegetables was also delicious and generous.

Wasabi looks a little tired on the outside, but don't be put off by that: it is clean and inviting inside, and the Japanese staff are, as one would expect, courteous, friendly and efficient. I wish they had a branch near us!
